Well, ParaKiss is about...umm... Fashion. This girl runs into a group of fashion students who want her to model their dress, she runs away from home because her mom won't let her, blah blah blah. The best part of it is the art. Ai Yazawa!

And Gokinjo Monogatari is the manga that she wrote before Parakiss.. The main characters of Gokinjo Monogatari show up in Parakiss as minor characters.

Gokinjo Monogatari is a better story. It's about a boy and a girl who have lived in neighboring apartments all their lives. The girl wants to become a fashion designer, etc blah blah blah.
