The world was one big desert. People lived in poverty and fear. Life was never the same after that faithful day in 2300. The Government, or as they are commonly known se7en, struck fear in the people. The world was going in a backward spiral. Only a certain group of people defied the se7en. The traders of the black market, the assasins and the bounty hunters. They were the people who still knew about and had the limited technology that the se7en controlled. One girl's life was going to change, she was going to be come an assasin. Or more of a sniper-assasin...

The wind was dry. Desert winds blew over the great black hole of emptiness. All around was just sand and more sand. The scorching sun grew hotter each passing day, threatening to burn literally everything in its path. A lone girl walked on the desert sands, swaying with each step. A boy walked up behind her and scooped her up and carried her. The girl blinked, the glaring sun blocking the face of the boy. Wrapping around his neck, the girl placed her head on the boy's chest. Kaito onii-chan..., a soft, dry voice managed to whisper out. (OCC: Kaito shall be the name of Miku's brother). Kaito walked on for several more hours, before collapsing onto the sands, causing the girl to tumble a few feet away from her. He stretched out his hand with the last of his remaining energy. Miku-chan..., he said. Kaito grabbed onto his sister's hand before passing out. This was how life started for Miku, or at least that was what she remembered.

The tent was hot, the air stale. Miku slowly opened her eyes, adjusting to the light of the place. Where was she? Wasnt she in the desert with Kaito? Jolting up from where she was lying. Looking left, looking right. She noticed that there was a mat that seemed like someone had just got up. Were they rescued? Walking unstably outside, the bright sun blinded her for a second, before she was accustomed to it. There were many people around, it scared her. She was suddenly lifted off the ground. Miku-chan. This will be our new home. We'll need to go and great the Elder. Don't be afraid., her brother cooed as he placed her on his shoulders. Miku was barely 5 years old when they were picked up from the deadly desert. Who knew her life would change from then on. The group she joined were nomad traders, dealing in parts in the black underground market.

Miku had a good childhood nonetheless. But one incident would remain etched in her memory forever. Miku found that her brother was acting suspiciously, always going off on his own. He kept getting annoyed at her, shouting at her. This wasnt like her brother. What was happening to her. On a dark gloomy night, as she was returning to their tent, she overheard his conversation. Yes..im willing to do it...yes, i'll be loyal to the se7en.. She didnt say a word and went in. The next day when she awoke, she found that her brother had left. She was 9 then. She never saw him again. People said that the se7en were taking people away for experiments. Others, speculated the se7en were killing young boys. Miku never believed any of the stories. She believed her brother went to join the se7en. Why did he join them? Was there an under-lying motive?

At the age of 10, the Elder approached her and asked her to become one of the traders, saying that she had a glib tongue, that was able to convince anyone. She would be the youngest trader in the group. That was when her adventure started...

A smiling face. A warm hand. A distored face. Darkness. Menancing laughter... No...Kaito-onii chan!. Miku lay awake on the mat, dripping cold sweat. The sun had risen, another day had begun in the dusty deserts. Woah...I've not dreamt of Kaito-onee chan in a long time.... Putting on her usual outfit, she walked out of the tent. A fresh 16 year old, stood out among the traders. Setting up the group's stall, a man walked up Yo miss...you game for it..., he winked.

Miku dealed with this kind of people more than once. She smiled at him. She leaped over the stall, and stood in front of the man. You think I'm easy eh?! Well get lost!. Miku pulled his collar and pushed him hard back. Her crystal grey eyes now were a icy grey. A cold stare was cast at the man, and he just ran off. Wimp.... The Elder walked over, placing a hand on Miku's shoulder. Miku..we need to talk.... This completely caught Miku off guard. Was it because of her bad behavior? Or was she getting kicked out from the group?!

Standing quietly in the corner of the tent, Miku fidgeted slightly. What i want to say to you is that, I want to train you to become a sniper. An assasin. Are you up for it? See I am no longer young..and i was hoping to pass my skills on to the younger generation. You have always had a bright mind, so I chose you. Accept this old man's request please Miku.. the Elder said all in one breath. Miku almost collapsed to her knees. Her a sniper? An assasin? She nodded her head slowly, amazed by this incredible honor. The Elder gave her a gesture to leave the tent. Wobbling slightly, Miku repeated to herself, Miku, the sniper-assasin..I like that...hehe. Customers were staring at her. She snapped out of it, and quickly walked over....
