This is my new sig of Teru Mikami from Death Note. I haven't made any graphics in a really, really long time and I've been meaning to get back at it for a while. So this is the first new piece that I have created in a LONG time. Over a year atleast. I needed a new style and I'm going to try new things. If anyone has any useful links, also, for brushes, tutorials, etc., please post them here for me. I would appreciate it. Also, C&C this piece.

The stock you used looks slight blurred but it still fits in nicely with the rest of the sig. And the colours and text used are good.

The reason it looks blurred out is because it's a gaussian blur layer underneath a screen filtered layer. The hair pieces were so thin that it blurred them a little. It looked much better than the original stock over the background though. I still need lots of help with my work, but I'm trying to get back in it as much as possible.

I like the colors a lot, but the background is kind of...bland. It's too uniform.

Also (and I hate to say this), your little pterodactyl kind of distracts from the flow of the image. You could try blending it in a little more, or making it a color that goes well with the scheme.
