my brother said that to me... basically saying i will never go anywhere with the things i enjoy. what do you think about this in general? can people overcome obstacles of life that seem impossible such as society and genes?

i believe they can. with determination and faith anything can happen. but there are always some things that are impossible no matter how hard you try, although i think that is very rare.
with graphics, its true that you need a lot of raw creativity and talent, but without hard work nothing will happen. people without this creativity will be at a disadvantage but they can work around it. everyone is human after all.

by the way i disagree with your brother about the 'chinese people never being good at these sports' thing. basically all my friends are chinese, and some of them PWN at basketball XD
