My review on Love Hina, I thought I would share it here.
When someone first told me about the Love Hina manga, I didn’t really think it sounded so great. Then, I haven’t been reading manga for long. But I am glad I bought this to see.
Well, what’s it about? It’s about a boy named Keitaro Urashima who made a promise years ago to a girl, the promise to get into Tokyo University. However, he is a 2nd year Ronin. He also isn’t living at home anymore, so he has to find a place to stay.
So he goes to see if there is any room at his grandma’s inn (Hinata Inn). However, when he gets there, it turns out to be and All-Girls Dorm, his grandma changed it from Hinata Inn to Hinata House. Either he’s the luckiest man alive if he can get in or he is the unluckiest.
Well, I don’t want to reveal anymore on the plot, just the basic beginning. Anymore might ruin it for you. I have enjoyed reading this so far, there is a lot of humour in this and that’s the main reason why I like it.
There are quite a number of sexual references but a lot of it implied or not draw in detail. These usually happen around the character Keitaro because he is a clumsy person all-round. You do feel sorry for him at times though.
Some parts of this series of mangas, I have found hard to just bookmark it in place because you sometimes have to know what is going to happen next or you can’t just leave of a bad point. Yes, there is some drama in this and some romance, but it all fits in and usually turns out well.
I can’t find anything really bad to say about this manga and that’s good. A good manga is one that you don’t have any problems with. That’s what I think anyway.
