Because I'd only screw up in the description process of this wonderfully funny anime. I'll just take what they say on the back on the Vol. 1 DVD.

The only thing for certain is that for Kamiyama, Cromartie High is his reality. And what a surreal reality it is. Because this is where the thoughest, meanest (and often dumbest) students are sent to do time. At Cromartie, purple-mohawked bruisers, and pencil chomping streets thugs are just part of every day life. And so is a 400 pound Gorilla. And a macho brute named Freddie who travles with his own theme music. And, of course, Mechazawa, the student voted most likely to need an oil change."



Cromartie High School doesn't really have a story, you could actually call it the Japanese version of Family Guy. The episodes aren't exactly connected (well, a few yes, but for the most part, there really isn't an actul storyline to it) There are many types of humor also, just like Family Guy. The only thing is to understand some of the humor you need to know a little bit of Japanese culture. (Which they thankfully provide in the DVD, thus making the show even more hilarious). It's been called tounge-in cheek, smart, wonderfully twisted, outrageously funny, Japan's #1 Animated Comedy, among many other things. I urge you to watch Cromartie High School, you will most definatly not be dissappointed.

Anyway... I think Cromartie's random episode plots is one of the aspects that makes it a great show. Besides, it's a good relief from some of these others that are out now. There's too much drama in today's anime. So yeah... Good show, nice summary, and no objections this time! :yes:

Which reminds me. Cromartie High School is an anime you watch when you need a good laugh. But... To receive it's full affect of humor dose yourself up with something. Anything. Otherwise you'll look like this ( :OO: ) through it.

I loved the trailer of cromatie high school it was well done and the music suited it to a T. But it was sorta disturbing in a funny way of course. Reminded me of beavis and butthead alot.

I hated Beavis and butthead, Cromarite is more. . .what's the word?. . .Funny and thought out

I'm just saying the animation is alot similar, that's all. That robot is crazy, I like him what a champion.

I didn't like it.
It tried to be funny so bad, but unded up turning out to be another Suzimia No Cutora.

Cromatie would be second choice. And I don't really like boy main characters.

One of my friends keep on claiming that some anime called something Robo is the best damn anime ever. Came out in the 80s I think. Forgot the first part of the name.
