You are my joy
Was your day bad? Don’t look down, You are still here, Here to help me, You make me happy.
The things I think, When I think of you, You make me smile, When you are here, I am never sad.
When you look at me, With a funny smile, A smile of hope, I just have look, And smile back.
If you go far away, No where close to me, I still think of you, And when I do, It makes me smile.
When days are sad, No ones home, The lights are out, I stop, And think of you.
You are my joy, As I am yours, Our happiness, No one can change, It is forever.

It's decent, I liked your first one better, but this isn't bad

Well, as strongly against poems as I am (you can just message me about that to learn my reasons) I think that you have good context. However it's highly lacking in any vivid appeal.
And tell me what you set the meter at, I tried snapping to it in two halves, three halves and four halves, and not one of them fit. : P
