Title: CPU DVD Problems

Well, my computer seems to have forgotten that it has a DVD player in it, which leads to the problem of not being able to watch any of my anime, so does anyone know how to fix something like this?

Well try and hit it!! My dads sterio diddnt work and than he hit it!! It works now..... And if that dont work call a computer tech.

Well, I asked a mystical wizard if he could grant me the golden acorn of awesomeness, I then used that to feed a squirrel named Fluffy. This turned Fluffy into the "Ultimate Form of Awesomeness Squirrel Titan", also known as U.F.A.S.T. Then using his powers of awesomeness and the sweet sword, he made my computer have DVD capabilities again! Sure it wastes the ability to take over the world, but anime before world, damnit! (just made that uip as I went along)
Seriously though I just found the old CD for the DVD and re installed, but the Golden Acorn of Awesomeness story is much more interesting

I know how to defeat the problem....every think of a dvd player? lol Its reader probably gut messed up from your disks. Check and see if the last dvd that worked was melted at all. The fan could've stopped and since your comp (even with fan ) is around 70 degrees it can get hot enough to melt it and (depending on wat comp config you have) screw up the mother board which is normally (on a windows) right below the disk drive. So, you might need a new motherboard AND new dvd reader at worst. at best your computer rebooted in "safe mode" and you lost the dvd compatibility info. The reason "safe mode" is in quotes is because most anything with microsoft windows above millennium will screw up in safe mode. Gl with your comp.
