Title: Favorite Album

What is yours? And why?
Mine is a difficult choice , it would either have to be Pink Floyd's The Wall, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, or Gorillaz debut album, Gorillaz.
The Wall-
I loved this album due to the theme it had, and the different styles used in the making of the album, like the lighter rock songs such as "Nobody Home" and "Goodbye Blue Sky", combined with a little synthesing in many of the songs and more harder rock like "One of My Turns" and "Young Lust".
The Dark Side of the Moon-
Once again a great album with great themes, note the s, it had more then one central theme unlikeThe Wall which had only 1 or 2 really, and at the same time Dark Side had the same diversty in the music, the only difference was you got less from it. (9 tracks compared to 26) But the quality and themes in the end equal to me anyway, that of The Wall.
Gorillaz-
I mainly liked this album so much for once again, the diversity in music. From the light rock like "5/4" and "Tomorrow Comes Today", to pop rock "19-2000", to rap like music "Clint Eastwood" , to the latin music with "Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo?)" , to the synthesied stuff like "Man Resreach", to the punk with "Punk", to Japanese like atomoshpere with "Left Hand Suzuki Method", what I'm saying is there was a lot to this album. And surprsingly for me hating rap music so much, I actually liked the few rap songs that were in it.

I like all the weird all CDs and the Weezer CDs!! Weezer is a great singer! And Weird al is just funny!!
NaotaInko - June 2, 2006 12:07 AM (GMT)
Weird Al does make a lot of good albums, like Running with Scissors, Poodle Hat, and that one with the Nirvana parody, Weezer on the other hand. . .eh whatever they're a decent band, just never got into em, but I do like their Japanese counter-part (everyone says they sound like Weezer for some reason and claim they copied off of Weezers sound, even though they were around for over 7 years before Weezer even had their first album out. . .I ramble too much don't I?)

I like perfict situation! It is so good! And yes you ramble too much! I mean you wrote like a paragraph on just my reply!!

I love all of Linkin Park's CDs... *coughobsessed* And Rammstein's 'Mutter' CD [cuz it's the only damn Rammstein I have]
Oh yeah, and Dir en Grey's 'Gauze' CD pwns all! Cuz it has "Tsumi to Batsu/Mitsu to Tsuba" on it!! Thats song just rocks... as well as their newest CD, 'Withering to Death'... okay. All of Dir en Grey's CDs rule...

I think that my favorite album would have to be Steely Dan's Pretzel Logic. I'm sure that will change later, but I don't think I'll ever get sick of this album. What did you guyst think of this album? my favorite song on there is "Rikki Don't Lose That Number."

I agree. :haha:
Use Your Illusion is where its at. Those albums rocked hard. Appetite is a little too hair metal for me, but you have good taste in music my friend.

I have to say truely I like Fergie and Gwen Stefani's music. Perhaps it's just because of the pure randomness and just pump they have in all their songs. Call me crazy.
WolfNinja - November 20, 2006 11:27 AM (GMT)
Gwen Stefani... I like her, I just don't like the song HOLLABACK GIRL. >_____>
hmmm... I don't know what my favorite album would be. Either Panic! at The Disco's album or Linkin Park's Meteora. I have a lot of favorite albums. -___-

Before it was completely all over the world, I loved that song. I remember I got her CD right when it came out, and for a good long time, no body knew any of the songs but me and my friend.
And saying, this shit is B-A-N-A-N-A-S to clueless people was a thrill. But now the song is a bit annoying... So sad.
