I really like Yami, as u might have noticed, not because of the anime itself, but his character is just cool, and honourable.

My favourite Anime charater? It has to be Rena from .hack//Legend of the Twilight.

Because she is funny ;)

Hmm, so many choices, I'd have to narrow it down to these 5 either Naota from FLCL, Osaka from Azumanga Daioh, Mechozowa from Cromartie High, Asuka from NGE, or Kino from Kino's Jounrey. . .I like all of those pretty equally.

Naota- i was around the age of him when I first saw it so watching him "mature" as the show went on was interesting, also the situations he ends up in are pretty cool

Osaka- she's so slow and random, just like one of my friends, hilarious character

Mechozowa- without him the show just wouldn't be as funny, he brings a lot of the oddness to Cromartie, and has some pretty funny lines every once in a while

Asuka- for some reason I really liked Asuka as a character, lot of internal conflict with her, brash with a spikey attitude, lust for attention and respect is sort of like me too, I guess

Kino- it's been a while since I saw this, but I remember likeing this character, sadly I can't remember why

Thome from triangle!

Everyone rembers triangle as the most badass anime in the history of forever, and how did it get to be that way? One person: thome! He wasn't tough, strong, or a big "fighter." But he was damned smart, and damned stealthy and always took down his opponents no matter what he had stacked against him with his golden whit and determination. He didnt' do it for a girl, or money, or revenge. He did it cause he watned to. He didn't even use weapons. Like in episode 67 when he walked right in to the an enemy base with dozens of guys armed to the teeth, and one pull of sting and everyone is dead in the most clever way possible. And he walkes out 12 minutes latter with not a drop of blood on him! Good times. Thome rulez t3h anime and t3h interweb. End of story.

Well, I looked it up and the only Triangle I found was one that involves a lot of sex, and that is all I'm going to say.

Back in the good ol' 80's there was nothing better then Triangle.

No, I did, the site I went to has pretty much every anime ever, and by the way, that one involing sex was from the 80s, just saying. . .

Triangle has one sex scene in the whole entire thing. And it doesn't even show anything.

Also the one I read that it only had 2 episodes logged, course I probably didn't look hard enough if it only has one, this one seemed to be all about sex.

Triangle is has four seasons (I can't remember how many episodes exactly.) And is about the life of a man called thome. From start to finnish. His amazingly cool life story.

If you ever compare Triangle to goldenboy again I will ripe off your balls and shove them into you're head in one quick movement that will occur so quickly that it will revese the flow of you're blood!

Are you saying Kino's Jounry and FLCL are really crappy anime now? If you say that, then Triangle (which I've yet to see as a real anime, no offense if it is) must die

No offense, but Golden boy sucks, the only thing that made it remotly funny was the English VA for the main character, try better comedies, like Cromartie High, or Azumanga Daioh. Now then, back to other things, if you're saying FLCL, NGE, and Kino's Jounry suck compared to Triangle, I will find the nearest Pirate that doesn't do anything, and kick your ass.

You clearly did not understand the genius of this anime then. FLCL was a lot more then just "random humor", though the random humor was in there on purpose. For one, to confuse people, and for two, to keep them in a translucent state. The purpose of FLCL was to show how Naota martued throughout the show, and the subtleness of that is very well done. Every line is a little hint of the actul message that the show has, saldy many people were too confused, so they either hated it or loved it because of that. A few of the lines that prove this include Naota's first words "Nothing amazing ever happens here" and what Hauko says to him at the end of the anime, about how he's not "old" enough yet. Even the actions have a subtleness to them, like how Naota says he hates the spicy stuff (curry , ramen, etc.). I loved this anime, everything about it was perfect, the story, the animation, the VA's, and the soundtrack, absoulte perfection. (I had a better rant on this, but I accidently clicked re-fresh , so I hope that this is as good as what I originally had, which was a lot longer. . .damn my memory)

My favorite characters would have to be Juunanagou, Sesshomaru, Ed(from Bebop), Ed(from FMA) and Haruko-san. And I have to agree with NaotaInko on FLCL. Definently a wonderful anime with a genius plot. o_O I thought I was the only one who noticed the whole "spicey curry, sour drink" thing though.
