Escaflowne is a must see anime about a highschool girl, Hitomi, that is pulled away from her life into the world of Gaia. Where she mets Prince Van and the mysteirous power of the one and only Escaflowne.

This anime has an easy to fallow storyline, and the plot isn't anything to scream about. But what makes this anime essential for any anime lover is this: the symbolism and truthful emotion that this anime implyies. It will make blood spur out of your ears in a manner as of to rejoice. For this anime is truely something to rejoice about, it's in my top five.

However watch out, because this series was also made into a Movie, which was competely and utterly yucky.

Oh, God. I forgot all about this show. I watched the horribly over-edited version on Fox Kids. They showed, like, eight episodes and stopped 'cause they were tired of editing it. And man, did I love it. But I forgot everything except for the fact that I always used to think that Hitomi was a dude...

Yeah, her hair was rather short.
But that in retrospect, she had a rather pleasing personality. Which I suppose made up for it.

This was one of the first anime series I ever watched and I loved it. It was captivating and satisfying. The character development was superb AND greatest of all even tho it was a bit cheesy and fantasy like at times I still would come home and be like oh em gee wheres escaflowne? I MUST WATCH ESCAFLOWNE!1!!1!

I've yet to see this one, I want to , but no idea where to find it, and I would do the torrent thing, but my computer is so utterly slow at those kind of things, it'd be better just to buy it.

No one has probably told you this before, Cly, but. . .YOU REALLY NEED TO EXPAND YOUR ANIME LIKENS!, well, either that or try out more then just one type, you never know, you might like it.
