Tetsumo was born into the a very powerful family of samurai. His father's father's father founded the great city of Taisho. His older brother, Yoji, named after their legendary ancestor Yojimbo, was a very accomplished samurai. They both put up a challenge to even trained warriors at a young age. One day their city was razed to the ground and Taisho, their father, died in combat with the powerful dark cleric, Padan Fain. Soon after Yoji disappeared from their destroyed city in search of Fain. Tetsumo stayed behind to see to reconstruction of their glorious home. On the eve of New Years, Padan's army attacked again and Tetsumo was left to defend his home alone with what was left of their families troops. He fought valiantly, but was still over powered. When he was about to give up hope and die in battle, his brother came back a new man and with his own armada of powerful warriors. Hawke and Ruludar, rulers of Rygalia were at his side and they soon over powered and defeated what was left of Fain's army. Yoji had changed tremendously in his two years of absence. For one he carried the Chirijiraden, katana of their ancestor Yojimbo which now harbored Yojimbo's spirit, and he had transformed into an Archon. Tetsumo left things in charge of the local militia while he went to Rygalia with his brother. While there he trained daily with his brother to become stronger, and evenyually surpassed him. One day he overheared the Daemon Lord, Mordos Kull, plotting against Yojimbo. In a rage Tetsumo lunged for Mordos, but was too weak. He was knocked unconcious and thrown into Mordos' prison cells, while Mordos killed Yoji. Out of shame and anger Tetsumo left Rygalia to train more in the barrens. He was visited by the spirit of his brother and then he himself, transformed into an archon. He returned to Rygalia to face Mordos in an epic battle to decide his family's fate. He gathered Hawke, Ruludar, and a new ally, Kroduk Hammerfist, and set forth to Mordos' new citadel. There a battle took place that awed all that were able to watch. Kroduk was unable to fight in this battle out of fear, but he makes up for that mistake each day of his life by constantly aiding Tetsumo in battle. Hawke and Ruludar were put out almost instantly because of Mordos' unfathomable strength. Tetsumo was the only one who could match this opponent. It didn't take long for Kull to take the upper hand because his axe, Snaga, chopped right through Tetsumo's right arm. The young Ryonaka was feeling faint and could barely keep conciousness after each blow from the deamon warlord. Once more the spirit of not just Tetsumo's brother Yoji, but Yojimbo and Taisho as well, intervened with Tetsumo's affairs. They held Mordos in place long enough for Hawke and Ruludar to combine all of the energy they had left with Tetsumo's to form a full fledged Ultima spell. Tetsumo defeated Mordos and then slayed his brothers betraying lover, Jade Dragoness, but by doing this two of Tetsumo's wings were turned black to show the crimes of vengence an archon shouldn't commit. Bearing this burden, he bed Hawke and Ruludar and the other citizens of Rygalia farewell, and returned home to a Taisho that had changed tremedously. Evil had littered his home with murder, gangs, and other vices that Taisho had never know of. Now Tetsumo has a new goal. Rid the filth from his lands, and restore the peace that should be reining.
