Description: Working

Instead of fixing a few mistakes here and there, I read my story and wasn't fully satisfied. (What writer is?) Anyways, I saw what I needed to improve on, what I needed to nail, and what I needed to avoid, and I think you will like this version much better. Also, no mages. I think I was just taking a character that I liked a lot, away from someone else... and that's just wrong. Anyways, hope you like Opani! Enjoy!

Opani
By: Kyle Dunham

Chapter One
The Sun had risen dramatically over the wide Opani fields. The dark green grass was now a light green, and yellow, red, and blue flowers were spread out all over the fields. Opani was indeed a beautiful land. The trees towered to the skies, the waters were blue and wavy, the sky was light blue, and clouds hardly ever covered the sky. However, instead of the clouds covering a bright yellow sun, the clouds were covering a faint, and small red sun. Snow almost always covered the towns and fields of Opani, but it was one of those, “rare summer days.”

The children of the many villages were playing, and the men and women were working. The children played a sport called Jester, (A combination of soccer, hockey, handball, and rugby.) There really were no rules, except for out of bounds, unnecessary roughness, and the most important rule; respect. The kids were playing, and the kids from the west side of the village were up by a point over the east.

“Jesse, pass me the ball!” Sasuke shouted.

Sasuke was an odd child. Well all of them would be to you, but he was especially odd. He did not go to school like the other children, instead he stayed at home all day, smoked and played guitar. But he wasn’t novel to Jester, or sword fighting. He competed in a championship tournament, in the continent called Gorgo. He won by amazing results, and literally destroyed his other opponents, but in a respectful way nonetheless. Unlike any of the other children though, he had a purple iris, and he had red marks that stretched from the bottom of his eyes, to the bottom of his jaw. The kids often called him, “The Red Dagger,” named after his swordsmanship, and his red marks. Nevertheless, he despised both names, but he still loved the children.

He was the oldest of the bunch, and he was very competitive. He played for the east side, but he rarely even had time to play; he was always having to travel for sword competitions. He was inspired to become a swordsman when he saw a hologram of the championship match between Angelo Clyde and Hiroshima Tsunami, where they put on the greatest show he had ever seen. The kids never understood his fascination of swords, but they looked up to him like a brother and a leader. Well they also liked his hair, as many of the kids talked about it. It was jet black, and it spiked upwards, and back.

Sasuke took the ball, the designated referee Mike, was watching the time. (Although he didn’t like being ref, it was his time for his ref duty.) Sasuke then ran to the other side of the field where the goalie was protecting his food like a eagle protecting her young, but nothing could stop Sasuke, even an eagle. He looked up, and saw a person diving to tackle him. Instead of continuing, he stopped and ducked while the tackler went flying out of bounds. He continued on, avoiding more and more tacklers. Mike signaled for ten seconds remaining. Sasuke was getting worried. Even though they scored and tied up the score, he didn’t know if he could score before Mike signaled for the game to end. Sasuke then sprinted, and was only a few feet from the goal. He then threw back his arm, and threw it at the goalie, he blocked it, and it bounced back to Sasuke. Sasuke then leapt into the air, and delivered a kick that sent the goalie flying back into the net. Even though the east had already started celebrating, so did the west, and Mike never signaled that a score had happened.

“Mike, I scored!” Sasuke ran up to him frustrated with spit flying from his mouth.

“Look again, mate,” Mike replied.

Sasuke looked over and saw that the unconscious goalie had the ball firmly in his hand.

“Oh man,” Sasuke sighed.

“It’s okay, mate, can’t always win,” Mike replied.

Sasuke nodded and remained on the field as many of the others passed him and patted him on the back.

When the others had left, Sasuke pulled out his package of cigarettes and began to drift on the wonderful scent of the smoke. Actually, he never really liked the smoke, it reminded him too much of his childhood.

When he was only five, a burglar set his home on fire out of frustration when he couldn’t find his family’s valuables. (The people of Frucia often buried their valuables underground. It was clear that the burglar was Gorgon, or perhaps Tristian background.) Sasuke managed to escape, but his parents who were asleep never got to escape, and Sasuke remained for the rest of his life, blaming himself for their deaths. People often smoked to relieve pain of stress, or pain in general, but Sasuke did neither. Whenever he smoked, he cried and suffered in regret and blame. He always wondered why he smoked though, probably in memory of his family.

“Hey Sasuke,” a girl called behind him.

Sasuke turned (tears wiped away) and looked at his beautiful girlfriend, Rachel. The children never knew why Sasuke had a girlfriend. They didn’t even like girls yet. But Sasuke was a teenager, and fully understood the beauty of a girl. Especially one like Rachel. She was one of the most popular girls at their school, (Not sure if that’s a compliment or not. There were only about twenty kids who went to his school.) Rachel, also had an iris, and this one was purple as well. She had a wonderful build, and had long brown hair. She had already dressed in their school uniforms, while Sasuke was wearing his muddy Jester uniform.

“Hey Rache,” Sasuke said.

“Did you guys win?”

“No, somehow Billy managed to catch a ball for once,” he laughed.

“That stinks. But you will get them next time. Did you hear about the takeover?”

“Takeover?” Sasuke asked, and they left the park hand in hand, as Sasuke walked her to school.

“Yeah, four-thousand Gorgon soldiers stormed the Capitol Building. They burned it down, and it appears Alexander the Beloved is in power,” Rachel said worriedly.

“That’s interesting,” Sasuke replied dully.

“What are you talking about? We have a dictator in Frucia! No longer is our democracy that we strived to keep in tact. Our lives are going to change, Sasuke,” Rachel pleaded.

“Listen Rachel, it’s alright. There’s nothing that that Alexander can do to us. And if he does, then something will happen. I mean, the army will try to get him out. We can’t just give up without a fight. I mean we kicked the Tristians out of here once, why couldn’t we just kick out some Gorgons?” He said.

“Well, actually it was the Gangans that we won our independence over, actually,” Rachel giggled.

“Ah, whatever. It happens when you haven’t been to school in over four years,” he laughed.

“Sasuke, why don’t you give up that sword…” before she could finish, Sasuke cut her off.

“Listen Rachel, I will never give up sword fighting. One day, it will lead me to greatness. And we will be happy together. I don’t ever want to hear your stomach growl, or your eyes cry. Rachel, I want to be with you in a happy life, and sword fighting is the only way. I can’t do anything else, and I was never been born to do anything else,” Sasuke said, covering her like a veil as they stood against the fence. Sasuke then kissed her, and Rachel couldn’t deny what he said, but she barely ever got to see him, and it took a heavy tool on her.

“I’m sorry, I just miss you sometimes,” Rachel blushed.

“I do too Rachel. I can barely breathe when I’m out in the arena without you. That’s why, I want you to start traveling with me.” Sasuke got down on one knee, as if he was engaging her, but Rachel wasn’t too happy with this.

“I’m sorry Sasuke. I can’t. You know I want to be a teacher, and I have to get an education to become a teacher. Once you become a swords veteran, you can help me pay for college, and…”

“So you’re just using me? Rachel, I love you more than anything, but I don’t want you to become a teacher. I couldn’t live without you when you would be at college,” Sasuke said with a few tears rolling down his cheeks.

They were silent, and so was the surrounding. It was as if everything had paused, and all he could hear was her breath.

“Sasuke, if you give up sword fighting, and go to college with me, you can start up your sword fighting, and then I’ll be able to come along with you,” she smiled hopefully.

Basically Sasuke had two choices… her way… or his way… he chose his way and never saw nor heard of her ever again. Although the scar she left behind on him was painful, he was able to survive and live his life. Besides, who doesn’t have their own share of scars?

Chapter Two
The night was pitch black, and there was a strong odor that could be smelled by the villagers. Now all of them had poured out of their homes, and saw smoke rising, and saw a bright yellow gleam over the trees in the nearby village. They all went to the village, and they found a burning country home, where a small boy with red hair remained on the dirt path watching his home burn to the ground. You could see the fire in his eyes, and a wide, manic grin was on his face. He saw two blazing bodies run out of the house, but they collapsed, and they no longer moved. The boy only smiled more.

A wave of purple then appeared, and the same boy, only a few years older was now in the grand hall of a castle. He was kneeling before a man of great importance, and was smiling even greater than the night when he burned his parents to the ground. Although, no one knew he actually killed his parents… they all thought that it was an accident, but it was not. The boy was then tapped on both shoulders by a gleaming silver sword, he then raised his head and bowed before the man. He then turned, with his cape flying behind him. He then turned into a room and saw a man standing in what looked like a gladiatorial-like coliseum. As the fourteen year old entered the arena, he stood before the gladiator.

The gladiator was wearing black, cut off tights, and leather straps, boots, and mask. He had a ripped, hairy body, and was well over seven feet tall. He looked exactly like a gladiator. The boy then heard a steel cage lower, and it landed, surrounding the boy and the man. The boy checked the cage, and found that it was rigid, and was probably impossible to escape from. The boy then heard a loud growl, and saw two Tolves (A combination of a wolf and a tiger.) falling from the ceiling, and finally landing inside of the cage of death as he called it. His smile only widened, and his arm extended outward. He then concentrated his body, his thoughts, his muscles, every aspect of his body, and a gleaming sword made out of light appeared from out of nowhere. His smile widened, and he charged at the Tolves. He easily killed them, and they fell in a bloody heap. He then looked to the gladiator. He was a bit more sweaty, and the boy could see the fear through his thick leather mask. The gladiator then went to the corner of the cage and picked up a mace. He began to flail it around. The boy knew that he couldn’t get near him. He knew that the mace would kill him in an instant.

The gladiator continued, and finally threw the mace at the boy. The boy swiftly swung his sword, and cut the chain that connected the ball to the stick. The ball went flying behind him, and the gladiator stood stunned. The boy then charged at the gladiator, and what happened next was too gruesome for anyone to even tell. Let’s just say that the gladiator was only fifty percent that day. That day, the boy would be remembered as a man. The boy was now Alexander the Beloved.

Another purple wave appeared, and Alexander was now in the same castle hallway, but he was in the throne. That was the last thing he remembered, and he awoke from his slumber.

“What a dream,” Alexander said rubbing his neck. He got up and put on his robe. He had changed a lot since than, but his fiery attitude and mean streak remained. He had grown to six feet tall, the usual “teenage iris” had lit up his eyes, and his long red mane of hair was even longer. Also not to forget that he is now the Emperor of Gorgo. The previous emperor, regarded him as his son, (Never having one of his own.) and made Alexander his heir. Alexander was honored to take such a reward, and he accepted it.

He battled many gladiators like the one before during his childhood, and he climbed the ranks of respect, and even landed himself a job as the emperor’s assistant. The gladiator fights were made to prove your power, and Alexander never lost. Not once. Only a few people had ever won the first gladiator fight, and Alexander won over fifty fights. Most too brutal to explain.

Alexander was glad that those days were over though. He liked peace and quiet, and he enjoyed reading, and his rule over Gorgo. At the age of twenty-four, he was the youngest Emperor of all time, and wanted to make it one that no one would forget.

Sasuke ducked the swing of a sword, and then he jumped over it as it went towards his legs. He then blocked it with his sword, and did a bicycle kick, and the sword left his opponent’s grasp. He then jumped up, and pulled a knife out of his “secret” spot in his shoe, and he pointed it at his opponents neck as he held his opponent in a hammerlock. The crowd erupted in cheer, and the bell rang, signaling the end up the match. Sasuke won a great match between Isaac Morimoto, and was awarded with the World Wide Sword Fighting Championship. He held the award up, and Rachel looked on at the hologram at her home back in Frucia. She had never seen Sasuke happier, and at that moment, they were both able to live in happiness once again.

Chapter Three
After bringing home the championship, Sasuke decided to take a small vacation to relax his muscles and his stress. It had been two months since he held the trophy above his head, and he felt one hundred percent. Not everyone did though.

Alexander had already influenced his propaganda on the Frucians, and every Frucian was worried about what he was going to do next. First, he banned all religious ceremonies and events, he banned any Frucian of traveling to Gorgo, and a list of other things. The Frucians felt they were backed against the wall, and had no where to go. Especially Sasuke.

With the terror filling Frucia, letters filled Sasuke’s living room. Letters… all from Alexander the Beloved. All of them, were about Sasuke, but all of them were positive. It seemed that Alexander was in attendance when he saw Sasuke won his fourth championship, and was greatly impressed. It seemed that Alexander had taken a keen interest in Sasuke, but all of the children, and elders of his village were worried about him.

“Listen, no one is going to do anything, and if they do, it won’t be negative. You heard the letters when I read them, Mike,” Sasuke told Mike, “the goalie.” Mike’s head was swollen from when Sasuke nailed Mike with the ball. Sasuke still wonders how he caught it though.

“Yeah, but look at what he’s doing. I mean, he basically banned our religion!”

Sasuke was beginning to get worried himself, but he changed the subject, and they happily played Jester, although Sasuke wasn’t happy. Every time he passed the backdoor window, he saw Rachel’s beautiful face peeking through the curtains.

The next day, a poster was put up on the front door of Sasuke’s door.

“Sasuke Wong, you are to report to the Gorgon Temple, there, you will meet the leader of both Frucia and Gorgo, Alexander the Beloved. Be prepared with a sword, fighting attire, comfortable shoes/boots, and no one else…”

Sasuke didn’t like the look of the poster. It emphasized “no one else,” in bold ink, and Sasuke felt that there was some scandal occurring up at the temple. And why did he need to bring a sword?

Sasuke had only seen the Gorgon Temple once, and that was when an airship flew him to the Sword Fighting National Stadium, and Sasuke knew that it was by far the largest building he had ever known. It was at least one thousand feet in the air, and was made of pure gold. It had wonderful decorations, and looked like a building from the ancient Gorgon Empire that existed thousands of years ago.

Sasuke went to Port Berlin to board the National Air and Water Transit, to travel across the unsteady waters of the Unger Ocean. It was a rather scary flight for Sasuke, considering he was both afraid of heights, and of water which was traveling at a high velocity below their car. Sasuke was riding in a car that traveled on lines that stretched from a station in Gorgo, to a station in Frucia. The car was more like a cube, and they had to stand, so overall, it was quite an uncomfortable trip. But he had experienced this many times, he couldn’t remember how many times he had been in one of those cars if you were to ask him.

“Hey kid, I saw your match at the championship,” a man from behind Sasuke announced.

Sasuke turned around, and saw the red cloaked, blonde haired, and infamous Angelo Clyde.

“Angelo Clyde! Oh my, it is an honor to finally meet you sir,” Sasuke said with a bow.

“It’s okay kid, hey listen, are you going to the temple?” Angelo asked him.

“Yeah actually. Alexander himself wants to see me,” Sasuke replied.

“Oh, that’s really bad. Listen, watch out for him. He is fishy to me. He might be up to something, and I don’t want to see someone like you…” he then smiled at Sasuke, “in the wrong hands.”

“Don’t worry, he can’t take advantage of me. And I won’t even let him try.”

“Good kid. Alright, I can’t wait to see one of your next matches, and I’ll see ya later.”

“Huh? Where are you going, we aren’t there yet,” Sasuke said.

Angelo then winked at him from under his glasses, and jumped out of the car, and dived into the dangerous waters of the Unger Ocean.

“What are you doing Angelo?!” Sasuke yelled after him.

“Don’t worry about it kid, he does that all the time,” a man said from in the car.

It didn’t seem anyone was worried. One was reading a magazine, one was playing a video game, and one was writing hastily in a notebook.

“Ah, whatever,” Sasuke laughed.

The car began to screech and slow down, and Sasuke could hear chatter come into hearing.

“We’ve arrived to Gorgo. Please have a nice day!” The conductor said. Sasuke and the passengers stepped off of the car, and entered the city of Alexandria. The city was so large, that Sasuke would get dizzy if he became lost. Buildings towered in the sky, and it was far more developed than any city in Frucia.

Instead of wondering the city like he usually did, a car stopped dead in front of him, and a window rolled down. Sasuke could only see the top of his head, and the man told him to get in the hover car. Sasuke went to the other side of the completely golden hover car, and entered. There, he found Alexander sitting across from him.

“Oh my lord!”

Sasuke got down on his knees and bowed before him. Although Sasuke didn’t like, or agree with his opinions, he was still loyal to him.

“Get up kid,” Alexander said.

“Sorry, sir,” Sasuke replied. Sasuke sat down on a chair, that heated itself, and massaged his back on its own.

“I’m sure you know why you’re here,” Alexander said.

Alexander never once looked at Sasuke during the trip, he looked out the window the entire time, in a depressing sort of way.

“Sorry sir, no I don’t…”

“Call me Alexander, okay? You are here to prove your skills, your determination, and your loyalty. When you arrive at the temple, you will compete in a task that even I took part in. Succeed, and you will be honored, and may even get an assignment… fail… and you die,” Alexander replied in the same depressing voice.

Sasuke couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Death?! I mean, how could anyone want to put anyone through something that involved death.

“Control your thoughts… others may be able to listen to them,” Alexander smiled.

“You… you can read minds?” Sasuke gulped.

“Yes, and you are by far the most interesting person I have ever met, Sasuke Wong. You have wonderful thoughts… ones just like mine. I mean why am I banning all these things in Frucia?” Alexander said with a smile. Still, he refused to look at him.

“Uh… I don’t…” Sasuke started, but Alexander cut him off.

“You weren’t supposed to answer. Listen… Sasuke… I am willing to give you the highest position in the Gorgon Army. Together… you and me can rule Opani!” Alexander said. He finally looked at him. And not once did he take his eyes off of him.

“Uh…. Uh…”

“Good. But you still have to pass the mission. But that won’t be a problem,” Alexander laughed. Alexander then returned to his window, and no more words were spoken.

They arrived to the golden building that was the Gorgon Temple. Alexander stepped out of the hover car, and hundreds of spectators began to scream in happiness at his arrival. Alexander smiled and waved to them all. He even hugged and kissed some of them. Sasuke had an idea what Alexander was doing though. He was playing the people. He was bribing them with security, happiness, economic success, and a list of other things… but he didn’t mean it. One day… he was going to pull the trigger.

They went into the building, and Sasuke found it to be entirely empty. Sasuke stopped to look at the magnificence. Sasuke couldn’t even see the ceiling it was so high. Their were beautiful lights, paintings, fire places, and decorations that adorned the building.

“So what floor do you work in?” Sasuke asked in awe at the largest painting he had ever seen.

“Floor? Why son, the Gorgon Temple is only one floor,” Alexander replied.

“No it isn’t. Why is it so tall than?” Sasuke asked.

Alexander merely laughed.

They turned down a long corridor, and many more a corridor followed, and they finally landed in front of the largest golden door Sasuke had ever seen. They entered the room, and Sasuke entered a room that was completely made of gold. Every single thing was gold. At the end, was a large throne. Sasuke followed Alexander, but when Alexander saw him following him, Alexander confronted him.

“Kid, you aren’t going with me…” Alexander said from above.

“Huh?” Sasuke replied.

Alexander then pointed a finger at a door on the side of the room, and Sasuke hesitantly approached it. It wasn’t like any of the other doors; this one was small and completely black. Sasuke placed his hand on the knob, and turned it to find a floor of sand below him. He looked up, and saw hundreds of screaming people. All of them were out of their minds, and were throwing things into the area. The area was a circle, surrounded by a cage and the stands. A man came up to him, and threw him into the cage before Sasuke could even react.

Sasuke looked across the other side of the cage. At least seven feet tall, a gladiatorial like guy was standing before him. He was carrying the larges axe that Sasuke had ever seen. He was hairy, sweaty, smelly, muscular, and was covered by a metal mask. Sasuke then drew his sword. He heard a faint laugh from inside the helmet.

“Why is Alexander doing this to me?” Sasuke asked himself.

The man then charged at him, and before he knew it, Sasuke dived down, and kicked the man’s knee. He tripped, and collided with the cage. He began to scream in agony, and blue sparks flew from the cage. The cage was being run with a large electric current.

“What have I gotten myself into?” Sasuke whimpered.

The man finally pulled himself off the cage, and was burnt crisp. His clothes had been burned, and had been completely removed. The hair on his body was standing upwards, and his skin was a layer or two darker. The man began to puff, and charged at him once again.

“I don’t want to do this to you!” Sasuke pleaded.

But the man swung his axe, and nearly connected with Sasuke’s head. He swung once more, and Sasuke dodged another. Sasuke then kicked the man back, and he bounced back. He then paused and breathed very heavily before him. Sasuke was very confused, why wasn’t he attacking? Then before he knew it, the man had grabbed Sasuke by the very neck. Sasuke felt air leave him, and felt his feet leave the ground. He was then thrown onto the ground, and the man stomped his heavy feet onto Sasuke’s stomach. Sasuke screamed in agony.

The man continued to stomp on Sasuke, and then Sasuke felt blood begin to pour out of his mouth. The man then pulled something out of his boot, and began to stab Sasuke in the head with it. Sasuke had never experienced this kind of pain before. It was blunt, but it was sharp enough to cut his skin. And the man was stabbing him with it and wouldn’t stop. Sasuke tried to put up his arms, but only got them stabbed.

“Stop it!” Sasuke screamed.

The man did not stop, and Sasuke had adorned a crimson mask. It poured down his chest and his front. The man then stopped, and lowered his object to Sasuke’s eye. He saw the tip of the bloody object hovering above his eyes. The man then tried to stab him in the eye, but Sasuke somehow caught the object only inches from his eye.

The man tried to shake Sasuke off, but Sasuke had a firm grip on him. He then picked up his axe. Without knowing it, Sasuke was hit by the blunt side of the axe, and was sent flying backwards. He landed only feet from the cage wall.

“Please… what did I do to deserve this?…” Sasuke gasped.

He saw nothing but black and red. At one time lying on the ground, all he saw was red, but now it turned to black. He then heard the man, and Sasuke moved out of the way, when the man struck down his axe. Instead of hitting Sasuke, or the ground, he hit the cage, and was electrocuted once again. Sasuke limped away, but then collapsed under his own weight. The axe had nearly killed him, and his insides were screaming in terror.

“Please, hold on, keep fighting,” Sasuke told himself.

He then heard stomping, and he looked up to see the black outline of the man. He swung his axe once again, but Sasuke somehow avoided it. He looked around, he couldn’t find his sword anywhere. But caught off guard, the man picked up Sasuke, and threw him, once again only inches away from the wall.

Sasuke then saw a faint silver gleam. He couldn’t reach the sword, the man had thrown it outside of the cage. Sasuke heard the same breathing and stomping, and he got up. He then wiped away the blood, and could finally see. The man was nearly black from the electrocutions, and there wasn’t even any hair left on his body. Sasuke ducked a long axe swing, and jumped over another. Where he was getting this energy… he did not know. The man then swung another time, and Sasuke dodged once again. Sasuke then got behind him, and put him in a headlock. The man struggled to get Sasuke off, but he couldn’t. Sasuke then used his flailing legs to trip the man. He then fell to his knees, and Sasuke kicked him so that he was on his gut. Sasuke then leapt upon him, and began to punch, kick, and do anything else to his back, to the back of his neck, to his head, and to his arms. The man’s arms were flailing, but the flailing slowly decreased. Sasuke then stood up, and picked up the man’s axe. Somehow, the man stood up, but he was very weak. Sasuke then began to spin around like a top, and the man tried to avoid it, but before he knew it, one half of him landed in the crowd. Sasuke remained in the cage, as the man’s legs and bottom gut remained. Sasuke was covered in his and the man’s blood. Sasuke had gone through hell, but he beat the devil.

“You didn’t beat the devil Sasuke,” something in his head said.

“Huh?” Sasuke gasped.

He then collapsed, and remembered no more from that night.

Chapter Four
Although Sasuke didn’t want to admit it, he became much closer with Alexander after his fight with the gladiator. Sasuke still wondered how he managed to pull out a victory. He was now heavily bandaged, stitched, and basically immobilized. He was treated like… well an emperor up at the temple.

After taking his fourth “catnap” he strolled his wheel chair to the Throne Room where Alexander had called for him. Sasuke didn’t know what was going to happen, but he doubted Alexander would put him in another duel. He pushed the door open with his propped-up foot, and strolled into the room. Alexander was sitting in his throne like usual. He was wearing a golden cloak, and black under attire. He had also dyed and cut his red hair. It was now brown, and a little bit shorter. Alexander smiled when Sasuke entered the room.

“Welcome Sasuke,” Alexander said when Sasuke strolled up to the throne.

“Thank you master,” Sasuke said bending his head, although he winced in pain at his bending joints.

“Thank you Sasuke. Now, you maybe wondering what you’re doing here, and I promise you won’t be fighting any gladiator today,” Alexander said with a laugh. Sasuke replied with a very weak and nervous laugh. “Anyways, I was completely taken by surprise by your performance the other day. You proved that you could be anything you could ever want to be one day. And today, you will be graced with an honor by the Emperor of Gorgo and Frucia himself, Alexander the Beloved.”

Alexander seemed much happier than the day when Sasuke arrived. Still, Sasuke was overcome with joy at his words.

“Sasuke, today I am granting you the honor, of General Sasuke Wong, of the Gorgon Army,” Alexander said with a bow. Sasuke couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Him, a general?

“Sir… Master… it is an honor!” Sasuke said in a croaked voice.

“You will now be given your first assignment. The day of your arrival to my continent, a Tristian naval sub sank one of our warships. That was why I was so grim that day.”

“Okay… so what do you want me to do?” Sasuke asked.

“You will be boarding the S.S. Joanne, and will try to rid of these subs of the Tristian Navy. And I suspect that won’t be much of a problem for you,” Alexander said standing up and patting him on the back.

“Actually, I’m kind of afraid of…”

“Oh it’s okay Sasuke. Do my Gorgo well. I suspect your next mission will be a greater one beyond belief. It will be an honor to all your little friends.”

Alexander then wheeled Sasuke out of the room, and shut the door behind him.
