Already finished this one, but working on the COMPLETE EDITION at the moment. Actually, you can read the first two chapters of the COMPLETE EDITION in this thread. :good:

The Mystical World of Opani

Chapter One: Ms. Mystery
“Look at this rubbish, it seems the Supreme Senate voted for the removal of Hygrad. Anymore of this, and the country will be in the dumps,” Zadan said as he read the Daily Hologram.

“Well, Hygrad was a very good Emperor while he was in office. Let’s just hope the Senate will vote in an appropriate Emperor this time,” Kasan replied.

Zadan was a very large man who wore long earrings, and had a long red mane of hair. He had a pale blue colored skin, and small, bright green eyes that had no iris whatsoever. No Opani resident did have an iris, that’s what made them so peculiar; also having different colored skins helps as well. Kasan was a short obedient person who had a long blue colored mane. He had red eyes, and a very small body. He says that he would like to become a mage just like the ones up at the Gorgon Temple; although, he is too young.

The bright orange sun shined brightly through the onion shaped house, and animals were heard outside in the land of Gorgo. The people of Gorgo, known as Gorgons, inhabited the planet of Opani. Gorgo was a country where mystical knights, and magical mages made their way up the ranks in the Gorgon Army.

The people of Gorgo, and the surrounding continents of; Frucia, Scobi, and Tristian, used the power of mystic, magic, and faith to survive the ironic world of Opani. Monsters inhabit the lands of Opani, and aren’t afraid to attack anyone either. Sometimes, the people of Opani, find themselves fighting the monsters, rather than themselves.

“I do hope so Kasan. I just hope they don’t elect that bloody Alexander. That man is out to get us, and I do mean that,” Zadan said, taking a sip of Nina Juice.

“I don’t know, Alexander is a great man. I mean, he’s everything you want a leader to be; powerful, magical, cunning, and intelligent,” Kasan replied.

Suddenly a knock on the door made Kasan get up from the table, and allow his good friend, Jayden enter the house.

“Hello Mr. Muta,” Jayden said as he entered the kitchen.

Jayden was a mage. A mage is a person who summons magic, and fights for the peace of Opani. They are not humans. They usually wear a tall pointed hat, that covers their face in darkness. All that you will ever see in their face, is their bright yellow eyes. They also usually wear pointed boots, and a magical cloak. Also, they are very short. Jayden, standing at only four feet, and two inches, is rather wide for his extraordinarily small size.

“Jayden Powers! Oh my Hygrad, I haven’t seen you in years!” Zadan got up and kissed him on both cheeks, and then motioned him to a chair. Kasan poured him a bowl of Ficha, which is a combination of herbs and Gangan meat, and Jayden ate it without a pause.

“Thank you, both of you,” Jayden said catching his breath.

“Well what are you doing here in the Raiden Villages? Shouldn’t you be up in the city, at the Gorgon Temple?” Zadan asked.

“Well Mr. Muta, it’s a long story actually,” Jayden said with a bit of a laugh. “You see, I was banished from the Gorgon Army.”

There was a long silence, where Kasan and Zadan struggled to believe him.

“But Jayden,” Kasan started, “you are the best mage for miles. Why would they banish you?”

“And you’re stealthy as a Mungo Rat! No one seems to catch you!” Zadan said in appraisal.

“Well, you see, like I said, it’s a long story. You see, I snuck into the Gorgon Chamber, which is forbidden to soldiers. Only the Emperor, the Senate, and the Gorgon Cabinet are allowed there. Well you see, I lost one of my Mage Balls and I couldn’t find it anywhere. The last time I had it, I was near the Gorgon Chamber. So it was after the Senate voting of the removal of Hygrad, and I thought that no one would be in there, so I kind of drifted in there.” He finished.

There was a silence where Jayden continued to eat.

“Well?” Kasan asked.

“Well, I think you know what happened,” Jayden said laughingly.

“Actually Powers, I have no clue what happened. I’ve never been to the Gorgon Temple in my life,” Zadan said, brushing his long red mane of hair to the side.

“Well… okay. I ran into Alexander,” Jayden croaked.

“What?! You mean, you actually confronted Alexander?!” Kasan gasped.

“Hell no,” Jayden said laughingly. “I’m not that brave. I was looking under one of the seats where the Senate members gather, and I felt a hard poke in my side. I looked up, and Alexander’s face was glaring at me. I was so scared. I started to run away, but he summoned something magic that even I have never heard of, and it connected with my back. Then I passed out, and that’s all I remember from that moment.” Jayden said.

“So what happened after that?” Zadan asked, playing with his long blue earrings.

“Er, well, the Senate voted, and they voted to sentence me to death. They figured that I might have been a spy.” He began to laugh, and said, “figures, they have so many men that they don’t even know who is on their side! Well I wan on my knees, and Alexander was above me with his large red sword pointing at my head. I was even more scared than the last time! The death horns then began to cry out, but then there was this really bright flash. I felt myself being carried, and I opened my eyes, and someone wearing a hood who was carrying me, was running out of the temple! I heard those sounds that those new weapons made, hundreds of them actually! I have no idea how the person got me out of there. When we were outside, he pulled off his hood, and it was a she! I had no idea what to say. So I nodded my head, and bowed, and then I ran like hell! And this is where I am now.”

“Now wait a second, Jayden. If you ran away from the temple, they may have followed you here!” Kasan shouted.

Kasan went to the window, and what he saw, struck him with horror.

“They’re here! What are we going to do?!” Kasan gasped.

“Kasan, relax me boy!” There was a very loud sound, and a ball went right through the window, shattering the glass.

“Oh blast it, they are using those newly instated guns! How the Senate voted these in is beyond me,” Jayden said, picking up one of the bullets.

Then the gunfire stopped, and the three got out from under the table. Zadan looked out the window, and Jayden and Kasan followed. They saw three Temple Troopers lying down on the muddy ground in a pool of blood. There was a person standing above them, who was carrying a golden dagger that was dripping the blood of its victims.

“There! That’s the woman who saved me!” Jayden shouted.

The woman turned around and looked at the three. She then reached into her pocket, and threw something onto the ground. A large puff of smoke appeared, and she disappeared.

Pretty funny chapter.

Chapter Two: The Boomerang Woompa
“Who is that woman, Jayden?” Kasan asked.

“I, I, I have no clue,” Jayden replied.

“Well, we owe her our gratitude. I’m not sure why she keeps showing up and everything, but she saved us!” He laughed.

A loud gun shot was heard, and the three looked at each other.

“How many are they going to send after us?!” Jayden gasped.

Zadan got up off the chair and went to the door. On the right side was a rack that held several different kinds of swords. Zadan’s finger went up and down the rack like a kid trying to pick out candy, and he returned to the kitchen with a katana for Kasan, and a broad sword for himself.

“I’m sure you got that dagger, right?” He asked to Jayden.

Jayden went into his pocket and pulled out a golden dagger. Of course, he didn’t want anyone to know that he had stolen it.

“So what are we doing, Zadan?” Jayden asked.

“We’re going to run of course!” Zadan replied.

“Oh no. No, no, no, no. I will not be a nomad. The great gambler, Kasan Muta will not become a beggar!” Kasan said looking up at the ceiling in all his glory.

“Little brother, you just lost your pocket money to the kid up the street yesterday. He hadn’t even played the game before,” Zadan said.

“Oh yeah, well, other than that, I have never been defeated!” Kasan said to the ceiling again. He pulled out of his pocket two black dice. He rolled them in his hand, and then threw them onto the table. A five, and a two appeared.

“Well actually you did lose to me---” Jayden started, but Kasan cut him off.

“Alright then! I’ll become a bloody nomad!” Kasan said to the floor this time. “I’m keeping the dice though,”

“Okay, are we ready?” Zadan asked. They all nodded, and they left the onion shaped house.

“Hopefully, we won’t run into a lot of mon---” Before Zadan could finish, a large toad-like creature halted them. Jayden looked at it up and down, it was riding on something that looked kind of like a deformed goat. Jayden could see that it was struggling to hold up the Woompa which was on its back.

“You have no permission to leave the Raiden Villages,” the Woompa said in a screeching voice.

“Well, we ran into a bit of trouble you see and---”

“Enough, I do not let criminals leave my villages, and then go to the next one to ruin that one. It gives me bad reputation up at the temple, you know,” the Woompa said. Woompas were creatures that watched over the villages, and reported back to the temple about what was happening. Sometimes Jayden saw the Woompas show up at the Temple with shady looking people, but some of them looked quite normal. They were not very friendly, and made up excuses to catch anyone, just so that they could get a quick minute of fame up at the temple with the other Woompas.

“I guess we’ll just have to defeat this guy,” Zadan said out of the corner of his mouth to the others.

“What?!” Kasan screeched which was very similar to the Woompa.

“I agree Zadan,” Jayden smiled. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the golden dagger.

“What is that little mage over there doing? You better not be thinking about trying to defeat me! No one has. Not in over eight years!” Woompa said, holding his head.

“Yeah Woompa, it was me who did defeat you,” Zadan said with a smirk on his face.

“Huh?!” The Woompa looked at him with his eyes bulging out of its sockets, and then he let out a terrible screech. “You can pass! Please forgive me Zadan!” The Woompa then made the deformed goat begin to move, which limped away.

“Brother, why didn’t you tell me you defeated the Raiden Woompa?” Kasan asked in awe.

“What? You think that’s something to hold in high standards? Ha, even you could defeat him,” Zadan said.

Jayden saw Kasan’s face give off a look of pain, anger, and jealousy, but Jayden ignored it. It was like any brother relationship, the little one was always a little jealous. On their way out of the Raiden villages, Kasan questioned him about how he defeated him.

“So how did you defeat him?” Kasan asked.

“Oh well, I had this toy boomerang, you see, and I was playing with it outside. So I didn’t even see the Woompa coming by our house, and wham! It nailed him right in the head! He fell off of his Jaga Goat, and landed right on his head. He began to run away without his goat, which was a sight to see. He thought I did it on purpose too!” Zadan laughed.

“I expected something more interesting,” Jayden laughed.

“You call that not interesting? I mean, a Woompa, falling off of the Jaga Goat! I even felt the ground shake when he fell.” The group laughed as they pushed the Raiden Gates open, and entered the Yaken Territory.

Chapter Three: Mage Class
Yaken Territory was controlled by the Dut Clan. They were ruthless thieves, who would stop at nothing to obtain the item. Zadan, Kasan, and Jayden knew that they would have to be very careful, and avoid any confrontations with them.

“I wonder why Hygrad had raised the age level of mages in the Gorgon Army. If he hadn’t I’d be fighting alongside you, Jayden,” Kasan said.

“Ha, it’s not that exciting, Kasan. I spend most of the time knicking food from the kitchens up at the temple,” Jayden replied.

“So, I still want to learn the ways of the Black Mages.”

Zadan stopped and looked at Kasan.

“Brother, I don’t want you joining the Gorgon Army. You have a fine life where you are,” Zadan said.

“No I don’t!” Zadan began to glare at him. “I do not want to be a farmer for the rest of my life, I want to go to the temple, and become a Black Mage!”

Zadan went over to Kasan and picked him up by the collar.

“Do you really think you have what it takes to become a mage? Mages are some of the most trained individuals that grace Opani. All you know how to do is raise herbs in our gar---”

“But we don’t have a garden anymore. We are on the run. We are nomads. Why not learn some skills while we still have the chance?”

Zadan stared at his brother, and then dropped him to the ground. He turned around and spoke to Jayden.

“Jayden, teach my pitiful brother so that we can get going,” Zadan said.

“Well, excuse me Mr. Muta, but, well, mage training takes a very long time,” Jayden replied.

“You see Kasan, even from your best friend. Face it, you will never become a mage.”

“Hey wait a second Zadan!” Jayden said, facing Zadan. “I never said that. I will train Kasan, and teach him everything I know, but like I said, it’s going to take a while,” Jayden said raising his voice.

Jayden saw a grin on Kasan’s face, and Jayden felt better.

They continued their route through the Yaken Territory, and arrived in Dut Village.

“Brother, stay close to Jayden, this village is very shady,” Zadan said through the corner of his mouth.

They agreed with him. The houses did indeed look very shady. The paint was peeling, there were broken windows, falling roof pieces, doors hanging off their hinges, and no plants to be seen.

Jayden felt Kasan’s hand grab Jayden’s, but Jayden couldn’t blame him. Jayden was also very scared. They came up to a barbed wire fencing and saw a large black house that was settled upon a hill. There was a large, dead willow that was on the right side.

“Maybe we should hide out there for a while, Zadan?” Jayden asked. Jayden felt Kasan’s hand clench his hand harder when he asked that.

“I think we should. It doesn’t look like anyone is living there so, we should be alone.”

They found an opening in the fence towards the right, and they crawled through it. When they arrived to the house, a horrible odor met their noses. They covered their noses with their sleeves to try and prevent it, but it didn’t work very well.

The house had a porch where a single rocking chair stood. Their were also two gargoyle-like statues that sat on the sides of the steps. Zadan placed his right foot on the bottom step, and the gargoyles sprang to life!

“Oh no, this isn’t good,” Kasan whimpered.

“Oh my! This is really advanced magic!” Jayden gasped in awe.

The gargoyles carried two long spears with a very long blade at the end. They were entirely gray, and looked a lot like warthogs.

“Get away from the Mistress’ home!” The one on the right shouted. It then stabbed it’s spear at Zadan, but he caught it.

“No, no, no, that’s not nice.” He grabbed it with both hands, and swung the gargoyle over his head, and crashed it into the ground. The gargoyle got up, and punched Zadan square in the face. Zadan was sent backwards, and he crashed into the stairs. Jayden pulled his dagger out of his pocket, and connected with the stone gargoyle, but his dagger vibrated violently, and Jayden pulled it away. The gargoyle charged at him, and tackled him to the ground. The gargoyle then began to pound his face in, and Jayden felt blood begin to splatter everywhere.

“Help, Kasan!” Jayden shouted.

Kasan ran up, and kicked the gargoyle, but it barely moved. It instead, got very angry, and began to work on Kasan. Jayden stood up, and looked around. He pointed his two fingers two his head, and spoke something in a weird language, and a long mage staff appeared in his hands. The gargoyles looked up at him in horror.

“Powers of the Inferno Sun, I cast Phoenix Bomb!” Jayden shouted. A large ball of flame shot out of the end of the staff, and it hovered in the air. It then exploded, and flame material latched itself onto the gargoyles. They began to run around, and then they collided with one another, and shattered into a bunch of pieces. The three of them stood in silence as they gathered their breath.

“See, I want to learn that,” Kasan said.

Chapter Four: The Secret Plan
After defeating the gargoyles, Zadan, Jayden, and Kasan went up the steps and knocked the knocker on the door three times. There was no answer, and Zadan carefully pushed the door open.

They were greeted by an even worse odor than the outside, cobwebs, dust, and peeling wallpaper. Zadan looked around, and found a staircase. They all began to climb the staircase, but then Jayden heard a voice.

“Wait,” Jayden whispered.

He sneaked past Zadan and Kasan, and moved towards the voice. He then heard the voice begin to get louder.

“darn you Kasha! You were supposed to have him here already! I see no Black Mage anywhere! Why don’t you have him?!” A man shouted.

“I, I, I don’t know. He’s been well guarded recently. And also I’m too busy defeating the troops your sending after him. You said you didn’t want him defeated,” the woman named Kasha said.

“I can’t help it! That interim Emperor has sent them, I cannot stop him… well not until I become Emperor myself! But still there is no excuse! You know that our plan is no go with out the mage! We need him to… well you know. I wish we could do this up at the temple, but those new cameras they installed make it too risky. If you fail next time however,” Jayden heard a loud crash, and then a faint whimper.

“Boss, I’m sorry I failed you…” Kasha whimpered.

Jayden heard the man smack Kasha, and he heard her begin to cry. A fire was lit under Jayden, and he wanted to go and get rid of the man, but for some reason, his feet would not allow him to move.

“Alright, I’m going back to the temple. Don’t mess this up this time!” He heard Kasha give out a faint yelp, and the man left the room.

“Alexander?!” Jayden gasped.

Jayden whipped around the corner, and found a broom cupboard. He hastily jumped in, and peered through the crack. Alexander, the candidate for Emperor had stopped dead in front of the closet, and he then let out a horrible laugh. Suddenly, the knob on the closet door began to turn, and Alexander’s face was staring right into Jayden’s horrified eyes.

“There you are!”

Jayden felt himself being lifted off the ground, and he was now being carried by Alexander who had him by only one arm.

Standing at well over seven feet tall, Alexander was a very intimidating man. With a long mane of pale blue hair, he had several earrings that hung from his long pointy ears. He had a very stiff, chiseled body, and a very stern face. Most noticeable, was his one eye. He had a cold gray eye, and the other eye was covered by a golden metal object. Jayden had no clue what it did.

He was being taken to the room which Alexander had just left. Before Jayden knew it, Alexander hurled him into the room, and Alexander crashed into the ground. Immediately, his nose began to bleed once again.

“Stand up!” Alexander shouted.

Alexander swung his large foot at Jayden, and it connected with Jayden’s face. Jayden felt more blood begin to spill; it was like someone had just turned the faucet up even more; the faucet of his very own blood. Jayden’s body was paralyzed with fear, but he pulled himself to his weak knees and looked up into Alexander’s one eye.

“Jayden Powers! Do you know why you’re here?” Alexander asked, pacing in front of him. Didn’t anyone notice that his nose was spewing blood all over the floor, and onto his clothes? Or did they even care? Jayden looked over and saw the girl on the floor crying. She had several bruises and cuts on her faces, but Jayden swore that it was the girl that had saved him before. When she looked up at Jayden, she let out a terrible wail.

“No I don’t, my Lord,” Jayden said bowing his head.

“Good. It’s good to see you’re still loyal.”

Alexander saw the girl continue to cry, and Jayden saw a puddle of tears that were forming on the ground.

“Powers, you are a Black Mage. Quite possibly… No… I am sure… You are the greatest Black Mage that Gorgo has ever seen,” Alexander said. Jayden couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Then why are you treating me like sh---” Jayden started.

“What was that?!” Alexander ran up to him, and kicked him in the face. Jayden felt something fall off of his face which was always covered in darkness by the hat, and Jayden picked his own nose off the ground. Jayden looked down at his blue outfit, which was now dark red.

“Powers, you are here because you will be a great contributor to my movement! You are going to give everything that you possess, and give it to me! Well actually, I’m going to take it,” Alexander said. He then began to laugh maniacally.

Jayden reached up to his face, and touched where his nose used to be, and he felt a large hole. His hand darted to his side in complete shock, disgust and horror.

“Now, are you ready to help build the greatest empire that Gorgo… No… The entire world of Opani has ever seen?” Alexander said. Jayden looked up, and he was now touching his gold eye piece. A ray or purple light shot out of it, and began to shoot right towards his face. The girl named Kasha leapt up, and tackled Alexander to the ground.

“What are you waiting for, run!”

Alexander clutched his nose, and began to weakly run away. He got to the others, and led them out of the house. Now he owed her three times. Why does she keep helping him?

Pretty short one, but pretty important...

Chapter Five: The Sister
“I can’t believe it… Alexander…” Kasan said outside of the house.

“We don’t have time. Seriously, we have to run!” Jayden said. Jayden noticed that his voice was now nasally, weak, and raspy. He couldn’t believe the pain surging through his small four foot body. He looked down at his gloved hands, and what used to be his nose. He immediately looked away.

“Alright, he’s right. I don’t want to get mixed in temple affairs, especially Alexander affairs. Alexander is truly a bad ma---” Zadan started, but Jayden cut him off.

“He’s evil Zadan and Kasan! He completely removed my nose! And that poor girl in there! We have to help her!” Jayden started to run inside of the house again, but Zadan’s large arms caught him by the collar, and he threw him on the ground.

“Shhh! Come here,” Zadan whispered. He lead them to the side of the house, and only a few seconds later, they saw Alexander limp out of the house. He then pointed two of his fingers two his forehead, and disappeared on the spot.

“I’m going,” Jayden said.

Jayden ran into the house against Zadan’s advice, and he went to check on the girl named Kasha. Jayden threw the door open, and he found Kasha on the ground.

“No!” He rushed over to her, and picked her head up. She was nearing death.

There was silence were Kasha stared up in Jayden’s dark face. Then Jayden removed his mage hat, revealing a very handsome face, and medium length, pale blue hair. Tears now filled his yellow eyes, and a red hole covered where his nose used to be. Kasha’s face then lit up, and a long smile came to her face. Before she passed out, she let out in a faint, weak voice, “brother,” she then fell onto his knees, and he forever lost his sister.

For some reason, she looked beautiful, even in death. She had long blonde hair, and very beautiful eyes. The robe she was wearing was bloodied, and torn. Jayden's body then was filled with anger, regret, sorrow, and vengeance.

“Why didn’t they tell me about you?!” Jayden shouted at her. Jayden’s parents had abandoned him when he was only nine years old. He went on to live with the Mutas, who were Zadan and Kasan. They too, had been abandoned by their parents. Kasan had never even met his parents. For him, Zadan is his father.

So this is why she had been protecting him. She wanted to keep him away from Alexander. Jayden kissed her on the cheek, and closed her eyes. He started to get up, but she moved.

“You’re giving up too easy little brother…” Then from out of nowhere, a fist collided with Jayden’s gut, and he fell to the ground in a heap. Jayden’s final vision before he passed out was his big sister standing before him. She had a smile on her face. She had been playing him the entire time. Alexander had played him the entire time...

Chapter Six: Prisoner of the Mind
“Get up mate, err, it’s no good,” After several attempts, Zadan removed himself from trying to revive Jayden.

A loud knock on the door made Jayden wake up, although he had no clue where he was. He heard a loud moan, and Kasan and Zadan rushed over to him. Did he make that noise?

“Jayden, wake up! You have to get up!” Kasan shouted.

Jayden felt a warm sensation go through his body, and he returned to what he would call normal. Only his head felt completely empty, and his body exhausted.

“What happened?” Jayden said weakly.

“They drained your powers; well… Alexander did. He took your magic!” Kasan said.

“My magic?!” Jayden sat up quickly, and a sensation of rage, anger, and confusion swept through his body.

“Why did he take my magic?” Jayden asked.

“Jayden, come on. You’re smarter than that. You know why…”

Jayden began to think. Maybe Alexander was going to use his magic to run Gorgo. But why would he need his magic? Alexander had said that Jayden was the greatest mage in all of Gorgo… Was there more to Jayden’s power than he knew about?

“So what are we doing here?” Jayden asked, holding the bars on the door for support. They were in a large dark dungeon. They were in a cell that was in the center of the dark room. Skulls and bones littered the floor.

“Kasha attacked us, and she sent us to Alexander. Alexander sent us to the dungeons while he dealt with you. Then they threw you in here an hour later. It appears Alexander took all of your magic,” Zadan said.

“Well we have to find a way out of here,” Kasan said.

Jayden looked all around the cell. There was no ceiling to the cell, but there was a big enough gap for Kasan to fit through, which was between the cell and the actual dungeon ceiling.

“We need to climb on our backs. Kasan can then crawl out of the cell, and find a key somewhere,” Jayden said while the others looked for weak points. Zadan got on all fours, and then Jayden crawled on top of him. Kasan jumped up onto Jayden, but Jayden felt pain begin to rush through his body. Jayden then fell off of Zadan, and fell onto the ground.

“Maybe we should do this when you’re a little more rested,” Kasan suggested, but Jayden nodded. He knew that if they didn’t get out, they were going to be put to death. Alexander had no use of them now… he took everything. They tried to climb on top of each other again, but the same results occurred once again. They tried many times, and on the fifth, and final time, Kasan reached the top. Jayden rubbed his ribs as pain was more intense than ever.

“Uh, I think I’m stuck…” Jayden looked up. Kasan was indeed stuck in between the gap. Jayden began to get very frustrated, and he pushed Kasan through, until he exited the gap, and crashed to the ground.

“Okay, Kasan, you need to find a key or something. Just do something to get us out.”

“Jayden, you’re so old school,” Kasan began to laugh, and Kasan left the dungeon.

“What?! That darn Kasan! What is he doing?” Jayden said.

“I have an idea,” Zadan snickered.

Ten minutes later, Kasan returned with each of their weapons.

“How did you get them?” Jayden asked.

“Heh, Alexander is dumb. He left them in his office, all alone,” Kasan said.

“How did you know how to get around?” Zadan asked.

Kasan looked up, and Jayden noticed that he was feeling uncomfortable.

“Well, you see… I kind of snuck out a lot, and went up to the temp---” Kasan started.

“You did what?!” Zadan shouted. “I told you never to go to the temple and then---”

“Look, we have no time. Alexander has probably already sent the executioners. Zadan, your broadsword should make easy work of these bars,” Jayden said.

Zadan lifted up his broadsword, and swung it at the bars, but his sword vibrated violently, and rebounded back at him.

“How didn’t they break?” Zadan asked.

“Hey, I got an idea. When the executioners come, they have to unlock the cell. When they do---”

Ten minutes later, two large ogre-like creatures entered the dungeon. They had black masks on, and were carrying large scythes.

“Psst, Zadan, are you sure we’re going to be able to do this?” Kasan whispered from behind the cell. Zadan did not answer, and looked on in horror.

They unlocked the cell, and then they noticed that there were only two people in the cell.

“Hey, wait a minute, where is the other prisoner?!” The executioner demanded.

“Right behind ‘ya!” The executioners turned around, and before they knew it, they fell to the ground in a heap. When Kasan made sure they were dead, he kissed the long blade of his katana.

“These are the people fighting our wars?” Zadan made a sarcastic sound, and then the two of them left the cell.

“Alright, so what’s the plan?” Kasan asked Jayden.

Jayden felt exhausted. Helping Kasan out of the cage had weakened him greatly. Before he had the chance to speak, he collapsed and became unconscious.

Kasan and Zadan looked at each other in horror, and then they tried to revive Jayden. A loud explosion was heard, and smoke filled the room. Zadan and Jayden looked over to the door, and saw a large figure that was surrounded by the smoke.

“I guess it’s time to explore my new powers…” A maniacal laugh filled the room, and then a large ball of purple light darted straight toward Zadan and Kasan, and before they knew it, they collapsed to the ground and became unconscious, just like Jayden.

Chapter Seven: Black Crows
Black crows filled the air, trees, and anything else they could perch on, and Jayden, Kasan, and Zadan were lead to a field of dying grass. Jayden looked around. There was nothing that could help them now; even he couldn’t think of anything. Then a large hand smacked him in the back of the head, and he looked up at the large executioners that were leading the way. He motioned the three of them on a large wooden structure.

“Darn it!” Kasan shouted.

They were lined up next to each other, and the executioners tied a lasso around each of their necks.

“I’m sorry I failed you guys,” Jayden said. Zadan and Kasan looked at him in horror. If Jayden had given up hope, then there was no hope at all.

They then felt the wooden floor drop, they fell through a small hole, and began to strangle from the lasso. Then someone entered the area, and they saw him fire an arrow right at the ropes. The arrow went through each rope, and Jayden, Kasan, and Zadan crashed to the ground alive. Jayden looked up and saw Alexander arguing with his men.

“What’s going on?” Jayden asked himself.

“What in the hell are you doing?!” Alexander shouted at his men. A silence then filled the area, and the executioners stared at the ground, while Alexander stared at them in disgust. “A hanging is too honorable for the likes of them! Do what I told you to do this time!” Alexander then turned and swayed back up to the temple.

“Why that good for nothing son of a b---” Kasan shouted, and he began to chase after Alexander. Alexander then turned with a manic, wide grin on his face, pulled out a long, wooden mage staff, and used a type of magic that Jayden had never even seen. A loud, and large explosion occurred, and a dark gray smoke filled the area. When it cleared, Kasan stood petrified, and turned to stone.

“Brother!” Zadan shouted.

Zadan began to chase after him, but Jayden could even see his fate. In a flash of purple light, the Zadan that he knew, and even loved like a brother had vanished in an instant.

“How could you, Alexander?! Those spells are forbidden! They are you’re darn rules!” Jayden said with tears pouring from his eyes. Alexander then trotted up to Jayden, and lifted up his chin.

“You’re right, they are my own rules, but this is your magic! You are now charged with committing illegal magic, while knowing the consequences and the rules, and you are now banished from the Continent of Gorgo! I have no use of you now…” Alexander then walked away. “Oh, and one more thing… take your statue with you.” He then began to laugh manically, and he kicked the statue to the ground, which shattered into a million pieces. He couldn’t believe it, he had just lost his two best friends… his brothers…

He walked over to Kasan, and picked up a piece of his shattered, petrified body, and put it in his pocket.

“Thank you for all the memories… Zadan and Kasan…” Jayden then turned and walked away. Where his journey would lead him… he didn’t know… All he had on his mind at that moment was vengeance.

Chapter Eight: Global Air and Water Transit
The day was clear and there was no cloud to be seen. The ship horns blew, and the waves bounced. Everyone seemed to be in a happy mood today. Well it was no surprise, actually, today was the opening of the grand new invention, the Global Air and Water Transit. Before, getting to Frucia was impossible; there were just too many monsters, and the waters too violent. But now, Hiro Clyde’s invention of the transit, will open a new world of the people of Gorgo and of Frucia.

Seventeen year old, Angelo Clyde, who was also the son of Hiro Clyde, was boarding one of the Transit Cars to go over to the new world of Frucia. He was rather glad to be leaving Port Erie because he, and his family knew that there was nothing left for him there. On the side of the car he was entering was a poster of the dictator, Alexander. He had a fierce face, and every time Angelo saw him, he shivered.

The Alexander from the Days of Prospect was all but gone. He had once been a joyful man, who helped all in the community. Only ten years later, with only four years under his belt as Emperor, everything changed. Apparently, Alexander had sent spies to spy on Frucia happenings. How they got there, no one knew, but they were caught, and the spies were put to death. Everyone then began to look at Alexander differently, and many territories even seceded from Gorgo. Well, that was a bad idea. Sending over 4,000 men on horseback, they destroyed everyone in the seceded territories. Alexander’s rule had turned into a rule of fear, anger, death and power.

“Alright, Angelo, I hope everything turns out alright for you in Frucia. Safe flight?” Angelo’s dad extended his arm, and Angelo shoved it away. Angelo turned away, and left his only remaining relative standing in the dust.

It wasn’t that Angelo hated his father… or maybe it was… I guess you would have to infer…

Well when Alexander discovered of Hiro’s plan to make an entire system of transportation to the other continent, Alexander pressured him, set a due date, sent threats of terror, and a great deal of other things that would change the outlook on the Clyde family. Angelo felt he was beginning to drift away from his father; well who could blame him? When Hiro began working on the railway, Hiro didn’t see his son for over two years. Despite all he went through with his father, Angelo began to feel guilty about slapping his hand away.

There was a mirror at the end of the car which was where Angelo sat. Angelo was a very handsome man. He had long grayish hair, (but if you were to call him old, he would smite you. He was only seventeen, but couldn’t explain his gray hair.) He wore a black, long sleeved t-shirt, and red, baggy pants. Over his shirt, he wore a long red cape, a red bandana that covered most of his gray head, and he wore long black boots. Now, you are probably wondering why a man would care about his appearance, well Angelo wanted to make sure he looked his best when he saw his pen pal, Rachel.

The people of Gorgo and Frucia had a mail system, where they sent mail through the seagulls that crowded the seas and ports of the two continents. He had met Rachel through a school project, actually. School wasn’t his favorite thing to do, but when his teacher, Mr. Ross, set a project where you sent a letter to a class in a different continent‘s class, Angelo thought that he could deal with it. When Angelo heard that he would be sending his letter to a girl named Rachel Hunter, Angelo started to love school. Even after the project was over, Angelo and Rachel continued to send each other letters.

Angelo felt an engine begin to stir inside of the car, it began to shake, and Angelo felt the car begin to move on the wires that were suspended high above the ocean waters.

“Excuse me, when are we arriving?” Angelo asked in his normal “cool” voice to the Conductor.

“Oh, well sonny, it should be about four hours. I hope that we all have a safe trip to the new world!”

Angelo looked out the window and saw thousands of hands waving at the car. Angelo turned away and pulled out a small book from his inside pocket. In a quick flash, Angelo had a pen in hand, and was writing down words in the small book. It was his journal, but like before, if you call it a diary, he will smite you.

Many of the people on the car were thieves. Angelo could just tell what type of people they were… also being a thief once upon a time doesn’t hurt either. During the construction of the railway, Angelo needed to knick food just to survive. During that time, he also leaned the art form of fencing, and sword fighting. Even though Angelo was the National Fencing Champion, he always wanted to be remembered for his techniques with a regular sword; whether it was a dagger, a broadsword, or even a sword he created, called Excalibur. Although, in the National Sword Fighting Championship, Angelo lost to the infamous sword fighter himself, Kajima Reno. Whenever Angelo heard the name, he wanted to find the nearby waste bin and vomit.

“Hey, kid,” Angelo looked up with a feeling of rage by being called a “kid.” “Do you know that old wizard coot, Jayden Powers?” A thief asked.

“Why? Who cares about magic? It’s completely useless, and simple to dodge. The best weapon is a sword…” Angelo looked up and saw a look on the man’s face that looked like a stirring argument, and Angelo added, “and always will be…”

“Well whatever, he…”

“Old man, I know who Jayden Powers is. He got his *** kicked by Alexander on the top of Mount Phoenix. Jayden had him cornered, and had the chance to even kill the freak, but no. Then a large eruption from the mountain occurred and it destroyed him on the spot. His body was too enraged to have any type of concentration whatsoever. But who could blame him? He lost his two best friends…” Angelo swiped a long strand of his hair out of his face, in a “cocky” way.

“Well actually, I was wondering if you wanted to come with me and help me raid his old house. When Alexander sent him to Frucia, he built a house, and he had a ton of valuables, and…”

“Go away you old piece of rubbish, I have no means of wanting to talk to you anymore. And now you are smarter, you have just learned a history lesson. Congratulations… mate…”

At those words, the man charged at Angelo with a concealed knife, but Angelo sideswiped him in a blink of an eye, and Angelo through the man out of the car’s window. The man broke through the glass, and crashed into the dark waters of the ocean. Only a couple minutes later, a red color began to float to the surface. As many looked down at the blood in horror and caution, Angelo said in his most calm and cool voice, “could I get a new seat please?”

Chapter Nine: Port Berlin
When Angelo stepped off of the car, he saw the beautiful city of Berlin. Berlin was a port that had hundreds of exotic shops, large gleaming buildings, beautiful white houses that were equipped with a marvelous blue plated roof, and red shudders that covered the clean glass windows. Angelo was amazed at the difference of Frucia and Gorgo. The people of Berlin were very kind and gentle people. The shop owners didn’t try to cheat you, and the prices were fairly cheap. The air was as clean as a new pair of leather boots, and the clouds were as white as the pillows that he rested his head on every night. But something else made all of the other beauties seem boring, and he saw the face of a beautiful and charming girl.

“Rachel?” Angelo asked taking off of his black leather gloves.

“Angelo, is that really you?” The girl asked.

Angelo leaned forward, bowed, and kissed her soft smooth hands. She giggled as he did this.

“It’s so great to finally meet you in person! I hope you are doing better,” Rachel said. She was inferring to his depression that he went through while his dad was too busy with the Railway.

“Yeah, I’m doing great now,” Angelo replied.

They decided to walk around the city and catch up with each other.

“I still can’t believe that I’m talking to you right now! Isn’t it really crazy?” She asked. It indeed was crazy as Angelo helped her carry her tray of food to a table.

“Yeah it is crazy. So, how is your dad?” Angelo asked, but when he saw the look on her face, he immediately knew it was a bad question to ask at the moment.

“Um, well, papa has been doing very badly at the moment,” she croaked. “You see, he got a lot of particles from the mines trapped in his lungs. He’s doing pretty badly at home.”

“Sorry to hear that… I’m sure everything will be al…”

“Yes, yes, he will be okay,” she nodded quickly.

Angelo knew that there was something else to this story. Either that or it was a story to hide the real truth. Nonetheless, he was worried for her.

After getting a bite to eat, (which Angelo thoroughly enjoyed.) they walked down to the docks where they met a man named Gangus; a brother of Rachel’s. However, they looked nothing alike.

Rachel, a short girl who had long brown hair, a red headband, long golden jewelry that swung from her neck, a white shoulder less top, and a long black skirt, looked nothing like Gangus. Gangus wore a short black vest, where he exposed his rather large belly and chest, baggy green pants, spiky blonde hair that had some nail running through the side, and a large “x” shaped scar on his cheek, looked nothing like Rachel. Gangus was well over six feet tall, and he was very wide.

“Nice to meet ‘ya Gangus,” Angelo said as he extended his arm.

Gangus knocked his hand away, and wrestled him into a tight headlock. This seemed like a game to Gangus and Rachel who were chuckling, but Angelo thought nothing of a game as Gangus suffocated Angelo for a short stint of time. When Gangus finally released him, Angelo rubbed his head as he laughed very weakly.

“Nice ‘ta finally meet ‘ya,” Gangus said in a strong accent.

“Yeah,” Angelo said louder then he meant. He couldn’t believe the strength of this elephant-like man.

“So, did ‘ya hear about tha’ Alexander mate of yours? Apparently he came over here and through over our government,” Gangus said in the same accent.

“What? No I didn’t,” Angelo replied.

“It’s true. Alexander took over our Frucian government. That’s probably why the people seemed mean to you,” Rachel said.

“Mean? Haha, Rachel, these are the nicest people I have ever seen. Why did Alexander take over your government?”

“He wants our resources, and our history, and our money, and everyfin’ else,” Gangus said.

Angelo didn’t find it hard to believe that Alexander would want to take over Frucia, but how did he get here? The cars had only been open for… well they hadn’t been open. Angelo and the people aboard were the only people who had ever been to Frucia.

“Well, how did he get here?” Angelo asked.

“None of us know,” Rachel replied. Rachel grabbed his hand and led him to a corner where a bright red poster was pinned to a message board. It was a fierce picture of Alexander. It read…

“Alexander, your new leader of Frucia.”

And under that, it read…

“Only the strong and fittest survive!”

And finally under that…

“While the weak and lonely crumble and die!”

Angelo couldn’t believe what he was reading, and he felt horrible. He was a Gorgon, so he felt guilty for letting another Gorgon take over the beautiful Continent of Frucia.

“Alexander is spreading terror throughout the Continent. Back home in Lilly Town, the mines have been shut down. The mines are the only place where the men work in Lilly Town. We aren’t a town that attracts a lot of visitors… unless they like a really big windmill,” Rachel said.

“Why did he shut down the mines?” Angelo asked.

“Probably ‘cuz all the weak men, as he called ‘em, work in mines and factories. He jus’ wants to send a message that he’s now in charge. I don’t really see how the Frucian government would have survived anyway, with no army and all.”

That was right. The Frucians had never even fought a war before. They felt no need for an army. Unlike the Gorgons, they kept their mouths shut, their eyes closed, ears covered and their noses out of people’s business.

“That’s why I’m workin’ here now. Dad is out of work an’ all. Momma is horrible. She is a complete wreck. So right now I’m workin’ to put food on the table,” Gangus said.

“Perhaps we should go to Lilly Town? Maybe I can help your father find a new job.”

“Angelo, I’m sorry for lying to you about before, but I felt it hard to mention at the moment. But in a way, it is true. Father is a worker, and without work, he is dying.”

“It’s alright, I will help your father do something, or I will do something about Alexander!”

Expecting laughter, Angelo received none for his last comment. The Frucians were doing horrible with Alexander in power, but he couldn’t blame them. That was the last time Angelo ever saw Berlin city, as he left the gates and headed toward Lilly Town.

Chapter Ten: The Monsters of Frucia
After exiting the city, Angelo, Gangus, and Rachel had found themselves in the outskirts. The outskirts had dark green grass, and a dirt path that led to both Lilly Town and the Swarming Grove.

“Do you guys have monsters here like in Gorgo?” Angelo asked.

“Yeah, a lot. You have to be very careful…” Rachel said.

“Don’t worry… I can protect you,” Angelo said. Angelo heard Gangus give a loud grunt at his words.

“I doubt we’ll actually run inta’ any monsters today anyway. They usually only come out at night,” Gangus said.

After about a mile walk, a large, pale shade of purple, mountain came into view. The top was covered in thick white snow.

“We… have to go over… that?” Angelo gasped.

“Oh, heavens no, Lilly Town is down that path to the right,” Rachel said.

Angelo looked to the right and saw the outline of a large windmill that was spinning rather slowly.

“Tha’s Lilly Town,” Gangus said.

Right when they turned and went down the path, a large ball-like creature jumped out of a nearby bush. Speaking of bush, he was very bushy, and furry. He had two large eyes, and skinny furless legs.

“Uh, oh, a Wancha,” Gangus said. He then pulled out a large garden scythe which he had been carrying on the trip. Angelo’s face lit up, and he drew his sword. It was two feet long, with three golden crests from the Sword Fighting National Committee, it was golden, and could make any room light up by a mere swing of the blade. It was a championship sword awarded to him when he tied in the championship. But, you ask, Angelo said he got second. Well Angelo would never accept a tie. To him, it was worse than second.

“Rachel, you might want to get back,” Angelo said.

“No it’s okay…” Rachel rubbed her fist. Did she expect to defeat monsters using fisticuffs? (Fisticuffs is a term used by fighters. They don’t use any weapon, but their hands, feet, and anything else on their body, is like a weapon to them.

While Angelo was looking down at Rachel, the armless ball of fur launched itself at Angelo. Angelo was hit in the side of the face and he bounced back onto the ground. He picked himself up, but Rachel had already charged at it.

“Wait, Rachel!” Angelo cried out.

But before he knew it, Rachel had disappeared.

“Huh?” Angelo asked. “Where did she go?”

“You’ll love this part, mate,” Gangus whispered.

From behind the Wancha, Rachel appeared from out of nowhere, and tapped it on the shoulder. It turned around, and looked at Rachel in a state of horror. The Rachel leapt into the air, and connected with a hard uppercut that sent the Wancha crashing to the ground. It then rolled away on the ground, and ran back into his bush; waiting to jump out on some other unprepared traveler.

“Great job, Rachel,” Angelo said.

But right when he said it, a large cat-like creature appeared from out of the forest.

“Umm, what are these?” Angelo asked in fear.

“These are Tolves. They are very dangerous, and hunt in packs,” Gangus said.

“You mean we are being hunted?!” Angelo said.

Angelo felt horrible. Already he felt disappointed. He wanted to defeat that Wancha himself, so that he could impress Rachel, and now he was acting like a school girl because of some cats.

“Then out of the forest, another came, and another. Soon, over ten Tolves were surrounding the party. The Tolves approached them, sniffing their bodies. The party remained as still as they possibly could. Then Angelo felt something itchy in his nose.

“No, darn it!” Angelo said to himself.

He then let out a terrible sneeze. The Tolve jumped back in shock, and it then growled at him. Angelo thought it looked a lot like a mix between a tiger and a wolf. Both were very common in Gorgo.

“No good now, now we have to fight.” Angelo then drew his blade, and he charged at the nearest Tolve. However, the Tolve didn’t want to give up without a fight. Angelo swung his blade, but he missed. Then a Tolve pounced him, and covered him on the ground. Angelo covered his face in fear that the Tolve would be scratching him, but then he felt something slimy touch his hand. Angelo looked up and saw that the Tolve was now licking his forehead. Why, Angelo couldn’t explain.

“Is that, Tolve, actually licking him?!” Rachel whispered.

“I… I… I guess…” Gangus replied.

Then it came to him, he knew why at once. He pulled out of his shirt pocket, a Gorgon Supreme Vegetable Sandwich which was loaded with Gorgon vegetables and meats. He threw it out to the pack of Tolves, and they began to fight over it. Angelo began to laugh, but Rachel and Gangus scooped him up and ran.

“What’s wrong?” Angelo said as he was bouncing up and down on Gangus’ shoulders.

“Oh nothing… Just the fact that those are Tolves!” Gangus said.

Angelo didn’t see what was so dangerous about them, but looking back at them as each fought for the sandwich, he thought otherwise.

“Okay, you know, I can walk,” Angelo laughed.

“Oh, right,” Gangus said and he placed Angelo down.

“So what’s the plan? Are we still heading to Lilly Town?” Angelo asked.

Rachel let out an odd noise, and looked up into the air behind him. She had a look of horror on her face. Angelo then turned around, and what looked like a dinosaur, was now staring right into his eyes.

“You… have got to… be… kidding me…” Angelo said.

It was well over thirty feet tall, and it had large paws where two feet long claws were attached. The face looked like the hood of a large van, and it had crooked eyes. It then opened its mouth where Angelo saw fangs and a long slimy tongue.

The dinosaur then let out a large roar, and it swung its short arms at Angelo. The force made Angelo fly over twenty feet to the side, and crashing into a tree. When Angelo had finally recovered, he discovered that he went right through the tree. When he stood up, Angelo fell to the ground. Something was wrong with his back. He felt no feeling in it at all. Angelo then found himself screaming in agony. He lifted his head, and saw Gangus being thrown to the side. It then turned its attention to Rachel. Angelo then felt a burning sensation fill his body.

It grabbed Rachel, and lifted her into the air.

“Oh no!”

Angelo got up, and he ran limply towards her and the dinosaur. He didn’t care that all of his ribs were probably broken. He had to get her down.

The dinosaur then threw her into the air, and caught her. She was then hanging by her ankles, while the dinosaur bobbed her up and down. Then her skirt fell, and Angelo stopped to look. Angelo then hit himself in the head, and came to his senses. He began to rush towards the dinosaur. Now he was closing in on them.

“Hey, drop her you…” Angelo stopped. It turned its attention to him, and it dropped Rachel who fell badly to the ground. It then charged at Angelo, and it lifted him into the air. It began to toy with him like it did to Rachel. It kept throwing him into the air. Up and down and up and down. On the seventh time, Angelo saw a weak spot. When he was launched into the air, he drew his sword. Light reflected off the sword, and caught the dinosaur right in the eyes. It began to flail his arms, and Angelo crashed to the ground. He then stabbed his sword at the dinosaur, and connected with its abdomen. It then stopped flailing, and looked down. It then let out a horrible roar.

“Take this than!” Angelo then began to swipe this way and that. It then let out one more fatal roar, and Angelo stabbed it. It crashed to the ground, and its breathing was no longer heard. Angelo looked to the others and saw that they were alright.

“You… have… got to be… kidding me…” Angelo then fell flat on his face, and passed out.

Chapter Eleven: Alexander’s Cruelty
When Angelo woke up, he felt very dizzy, as if he had been smoking a joint for hours on end. When he saw a thirty foot dinosaur laying next to him dead, this only made him believe it even more. He then remembered the fights that he had went through the other day, and then he remembered Gangus… and Rachel!

He tried to get up, but collapsed in pain. Was it possible that he had damaged all of his ribs? He looked over to where he crashed into the tree, and thought it very possible. A large hole was now in the center of the tree. It was shaped like an outline of his body. So he thought the only way would be to crawl. He used his arms to drag himself towards Rachel limp body. He was about twenty feet away from her, when he felt something sharp touch his belly. He then pulled out three thorns out of his chest. He had to fight on, but surprisingly, when he passed the thorns with his legs, he felt nothing.

After an hour, he reached only five feet away from her, when something appeared above him. He weakly lifted his head, and saw Alexander hovering above Rachel and Gangus.

“Alexander?!” Angelo gasped.

“Angelo Clyde; Grand Fencing Champion, Grand Sword Fighting Champion, son of the most talked about man these days, and what I hear… quite a juvenile himself,” Alexander said.

“What do you want… sir?” Angelo said with all he could muster at the moment.

“Well you see, all of the children of Lilly Town are being taken from their poor, miserable families, and they are being taken to the temple, to become workers, or soldiers.” Alexander let out a shrieking laugh, and hundreds of birds left their trees.

“Why do you want them?” Angelo asked with a pain surging through his body.

“Because we have plans for this town… called Lilly Town. You see, they’ve paid their dues recently. It appears that the people of Gorgo want to go elsewhere, then the planet of Opani…” he laughed once again. What was he talking about?

“What in the hell are you talking about?!” Angelo felt a pain like he had never experienced before.

“Oh, well I guess I could tell you… or maybe show it to you…” Alexander laughed once again.

A hand emerged from his long sleeves and a finger pointed upwards. Suddenly, Gangus’ body left the ground. Angelo tried to speak, but he just couldn’t. Alexander then pointed to the sky, and Gangus shot upwards like a rocket, and then disappeared.

“Alex..ander…” Angelo gasped.

“You see Angelo, it seems your people want to go to space. Why? How would I know what peasants would want? But then again… they are going to be disappointed… I’ve been to space… pretty boring. Unless you like big spheres and white dots,” he then let out another shrieking laugh. “Now you ask what this has to do with Lilly Town,” Alexander said as if he was reading Angelo’s mind… maybe he was.

His other hand emerged from his extra long sleeves of his cloak, and he snapped his fingers. Angelo waited for something to happen, but nothing did. But then, only a few moments later a deafening explosion occurred behind Angelo’s body. He turned his head, and saw a mushroom-like outline of smoke. Alexander had destroyed Lily Town. Angelo put his hand forward… as if he was asking for mercy… but then his eyes closed, and his body became limp.

As Angelo laid in unconsciousness, Alexander picked up Rachel with his one and only hand.

“Then again… we have special plans for you…” Alexander said to Rachel.

Alexander then disappeared in thin air, and black thick smoke covered the land of Frucia for the next month of mourning.

This chapter may seem really outrageous, but Angelo had lost EVERYTHING when he lost Kate to Alexander.

Chapter Twelve: Angelo’s Final Breath
Apparently, if one mentioned Lilly Town, one would immediately cry, but the people of Rocket Town never found any reason to cry. They had a beautiful setting. Their were large gardens, brick houses, beautiful creatures, and wonderful buildings. One thing that always puzzled them though, was a large rocket that stood on the outskirts of town. Why was there a rocket there anyways?

A man named Aaron then opened his door and walked out of his small brick house. He had been living in Rocket Town for a few years now, and loved it more than anything. Alexander did indeed give the people a beautiful town. Aaron was a normal man. He went to the market everyday, he drank tea, he tended to his garden, and he paid bills. But there was something that people didn’t know about him. Walking to the Frucian Air and Space Building, his scientist robe traveled behind him. Maybe it was his thick glasses, but he just couldn’t see why Alexander wanted to send people to space, but the wages he earned were excellent, so he kept his mouth shut. He always wore a similar outfit everyday. He always wore his scientist robe, his thick black glasses, his black pants, and gelled hair.

He went through the doors that opened automatically and entered his office. A girl named Kate, who had red hair, thin clear glasses, and a beautiful figure, approached Aaron.

“Mr. Michaels, we got someone who knows how to fix the rocket’s engine,” Kate said.

“Really? What is his name?” Aaron asked while reading a clipboard.

“He says his name is Angelo Clyde… but I could have sworn that he had died…” Kate said.

“Probably a prank caller,” Aaron sighed.

But it wasn’t a prank caller. The next day Angelo arrived to Rocket Town, or what he called the Lilly Town Ruins. Angelo had aged quite a bit, and he was riding in a wheel chair. After he came to, he crawled his way to the next city, and the doctors told him that he was completely paralyzed from the waist down. Angelo was now quiet, and didn’t like to talk to anyone. The recent news broke his heart.

Two months ago, hundreds of signs went up about some type of marriage. In his home of Fortune Town, he went to get the paper, to see Rachel smiling on a holographic poster. It read…

“Come to the Alexander and Rachel wedding, this Saturday at four pm!”

“Any Frucian or Gorgon that does not attend will be held in contempt.”

Angelo did not attend, and was now on the run… if you will. When Angelo entered the Frucian Air and Space Building, he felt happier then he had ever felt before. Why you ask? Well… you’ll see…

“Angelo Clyde? Is that really you?!” Aaron said in his office. He had nearly choked on his tea when Kate announced his arrival.

“In the living flesh… now… take me to your rocket,” Angelo smiled.

Angelo didn’t know anything about rocket engineering… actually no one did…

“Yes! This way sir!” Aaron then led him to the towering rocket that laid outside of the town. It was painted red; the Frucian National color.

“Please sir, let me work in peace,” Angelo said.

Angelo pulled out a tool box, only no tools were in the box.

“What do you think he’s doing?” Kate asked.

“I’m not sure… but if he’s Clyde’s son than we are in luck,” Aaron replied.

“Wait, what is that?” Kate asked. Kate then left the building and rushed over to the rocket site. Aaron looked on through the glass and saw Kate yelling… pleading with Angelo. Angelo then turned to the building, and a manic smile appeared on his face. Then a large eruption occurred and the tower began to collapse.

“NO!” Aaron shouted.

Aaron saw the outline of Kate begin to rush towards him in the smoke, then the rocket completely fell, and smoke filled the area.

“Kate…” Aaron said.

The thick black smoke that Frucia had gotten used to, now filled the rocket site. Any hope of Kate’s survival was gone. There was absolutely no way that she survived. Angelo had attached a bomb to the rocket’s fuel cell, and the hole place went up in smoke and flame. All the work that they did was lost. All the memories he had with Kate… were gone.

Chapter Thirteen: Sasuke Wong
Some would say that man in space would be an impossibility, and perhaps they were correct. Only a few months after the tragic Frucian Rocket Explosion, the Gorgon rocket named, Ollopa, took flight and left the Opani atmosphere. However, a problem with one of the engines occurred, and the rocket went flying back to the ground, and crashed into the ocean where it would be ripped to pieces by the demons that inhabit the dark waters.

One of the men that was on Ollopa was Aaron, the man you found out about in the previous chapter. Well after the Frucian Rocket Explosion, he moved to Gorgo, and signed up with their space program. When he found out that he would be going to outer space, he was delighted and took the job. There was something missing in his life though, and that was Kate. When he lost Kate, he pulled an “Angelo Clyde,” a term becoming more common in the wild lands of Opani. When working on the rocket, he purposely damaged one of the engines… the main engine. Going into space, he already knew his fate was sealed, and he tumbled down like a downward spiral.

Now you maybe getting tired of all the new characters. I mean, who actually is the hero of this wonderful tale? Well that’s no fun now is it? Well time to introduce a new character, but I promise the end is drawing near, and you will be shaking in your chair as I am writing this just now.

Well no let me introduce to you, our newest hero, Sasuke Wong. Sasuke is from Frucia, but isn’t a stranger to Gorgo. At the age of 15, Sasuke is an accomplished sword fighter… just like his hero, Angelo Clyde. Although he is rather short, he can pack a punch, and a deadly one at that. Entering his fourth National Sword Fighting Championship, he entered as the champion, and successfully defended it again. He was inspired to become a sword fighter, and protector of the people when he saw a hologram of Angelo’s championship performance at the same event, only thirty years ago. Not to say he wasn’t inspired by other things. I mean, he was greatly inspired by the Beloved Alexander. (as he is called these days.) But the inspiration wasn’t on a positive note. When Sasuke learned that Alexander brainwashed Rachel, (I knew you were probably wondering about her) he felt rage coil through him. Alexander took his hero’s girl… in his opinion, that was just wrong.

He looks a lot like a sword fighter… if you know what I mean. Having medium length, jet black hair, a semi muscular build, and a battle scar that went from his eyebrow to the top of his cheek. For some reason, he thought it looked “cool.” Okay… perhaps he doesn’t look like a sword fighter, but the point is he is a hell of a sword fighter.

Now you ask what about his family? Well just like so many others, Alexander took them away and wiped them out. Sasuke’s parents were fortune tellers. They were the greatest fortune tellers for miles, and Alexander didn’t like that. Alexander didn’t like the idea of spirits, mystics, magic, and other things being used by his own people, although those are some of his specialties, are they not?

So Sasuke’s parents were taken away, and he never saw them again. Like many of the kids of Titan Town, they never heard of their parents again. To say Sasuke wasn’t pissed, would be an understatement. Boarding the Global Air and Water Transit, he went to Gorgo and knocked on Alexander’s very door. When Alexander answered, he was barely clothed, and giggles were heard in the background.

“What in the hell?! How did you get by my guards?” Alexander said shockingly.

“Sleeping Powder. Very strong. I made it myself, you can use it for a distraction… or a weapon,” he said with a smile.

Instead of beating down the selfish punk, Alexander smiled and patted the kid on the head. He then turned and locked the door. Sasuke had no way of getting back in, and he had to return back home. Sasuke was so mad that he wrote many hateful letters to the Emperor himself, but even he knew they probably weren’t even getting to him.

After finalizing his last bit of math homework, he came back to his senses. He was lying out on his back, staring up at the sky, catching the small flakes of snow as they landed on his tongue. He pulled out a cigarette and drifted on the smoke rings that went through his nostrils. He was always so relaxed when he smoked, and it was a habit that he knew he needed to stop, but couldn’t. It would be easier to call it an obsession. When he heard a girl call, he looked up and saw his girlfriend, Emily, opening his white picket fence, and he quickly put out his cigarette.

“Hey Emily,” Sasuke said in his calm, quiet voice.

“I saw that bud, Sasuke,” Emily said. “I told you that you needed to stop.”

Sasuke stood up and kissed her on the lips and stared into her beautiful brown eyes.

“I know, I’m sorry. I’ll try to quit,” Sasuke said in a charming voice. Emily always forgave that face. He was so beautiful.

And she was too. Emily Garner, one of the most popular and beautiful girls in the school, had long brown hair and a magnificent build. Saying that they weren’t popular would be crazy. However, they aren’t the “popular couple” that you may expect. Instead of being bossy, nosy, and preppy, everyone liked them, and they were nice to everyone.

Now maybe saying it was a town before was an understatement. Titan Town was more of a city. Actually, the largest city in the world. Millions of people, hundreds of buildings, millions of houses, and millions more of unhappy faces. When Sasuke and Emily arrived to the school, they suffered through hours of boringness and lectures.

“Wong, get up!” Mrs. Harris said from behind her desk. Sasuke raised his head and mumbled, “Okay Mrs. Harris.” Again, to say this didn’t happen everyday would be an understatement.

When the 2:30 bell rang, the people of the school ran out like little nine year olds, while Sasuke and Emily walked slowly and “coolly” behind everyone.

Sasuke heard a whistle blow and saw about twenty soldiers jog by. Sasuke knew these very soldiers, and hated them almost as much as Alexander himself. (They were the ones who took his parents, you see.)

Not thinking, Sasuke pulled out a cigarette and once again began to drift back on the wonderful smell.

“Sasuke!” Emily said annoyingly.

“Huh?” Sasuke said jokingly.

“I’m never going to set you straight,” Emily said in the same voice.

“No one likes straight roads. People like the roads that branch off in all types of directions, you know, the complicated ones,” Sasuke said.

“Sasuke, do you even know what your talking about?” Emily asked puzzled.

“Well, no. But it sounded really good in my head. Oh wait…” Sasuke then swiped off his outer clothes which were his school clothes and revealed his regular clothes. Sasuke was wearing jeans, a blue t-shirt, and his father’s pendant necklace. Even though it wasn’t traditional, he even wore these clothes during battle.

“Okay, so are we going to my house, or your house to study?” Emily asked.

“My house, I mean no one is there,” Sasuke said jokingly.

“Er, Sasuke, we are not going to be…” she began to heavily blush and then said, “WE ARE GOING TO STUDY!” She tried to say it without laughing, but it was impossible.

“Alright then, let’s go study then,” Sasuke said, leading her to his house.

“Sasuke, put your hand on my waist,” Emily said seriously this time.

“Sorry, how’d my hand get down there?” He laughed and took another long drift on his cigarette.

“Now my plan is becoming a reality,” Alexander said glazing into his crystal ball. He was currently looking at Sasuke and Emily walking home. “Sasuke Wong, with you on my side, there will be no one to stop me!” He then began to laugh in the same maniac way. “No one can defeat me but… well… that stupid black mage, and… well… he is gone. There will be no more living souls that will ever be able to match my powers!”

Chapter Fourteen: Death Touch
As Sasuke and Emily remained at Sasuke’s house… “Studying,” three Gorgon soldiers pass by the house that they were ordered to.

“Isn’t this a bit silly? I mean, boss wants us to get a kid?” The soldier wearing a green uniform asked.

“Man, this kid is the real deal. He nearly killed my brother in the Sword Fighting Championship,” the soldier who was wearing a red uniform.

“But, Captain, he’s only fifteen!” The other soldier wearing a green uniform replied.

“Nevertheless, he has almost as much power as our Beloved Master. If Master orders it, we must deliver. That is the Gorgon duty,” the captain said kneeling down on one knee, as if Alexander was right in front of him.

“Well alright, I guess I don’t mind getting the kid, but I hate being here in Frucia. I want to go home and see Mary,” one of the soldiers said.

“We all do, and soon enough we’ll all be able to. Soon this Shrouded Rebellion will be halted immediately,” the captain replied.

Now you are wondering about this so called rebellion, am I right? Well two years ago, former Frucia government officials, called for a grand army of Frucia, and in two years, Frucia had over thirty-thousand troops to defend their homes. Well the problem was, Gorgo had well over fifty-thousand troops to take over any country they wanted. But the rebellion continued. No one knew about it, except for some high authority figures, or reporters. And they were told to be kept quiet.

“Alright, midnight. In a few minutes we should receive word from our master,” the captain said.

And he was right. A couple minutes later, Captain Achilles’ Hologram Communicator buzzed, and a hologram of the Beloved Alexander appeared. The hologram often received static, so it often flashed like it turned off, and then back on right away.

“Alright men. Today is when we get one of the most infamous sword fighters of all time. When we get him on our side, there will be no one that will be able to stop our grand army!” Alexander said.

Alexander had indeed aged a bit. Now having gray beard, a chubby belly, wrinkles, and a worn face, he looked like he had aged in less then a fortnight.

“Yes master, it will be done,” the captain said into the communicator.

The device shot down, and Captain Achilles ordered his men to the side of the house. They peeked into the window and found Sasuke and Emily sitting, well more like lying on the couch.

“Alright, Sergeant Kyle, take the back, and Gamble, you take the front,” Achilles said in a serious tone.

Gamble and Kyle nodded, and they got in their respective positions.

“Hey, do you hear something,” Sasuke said from inside the house. He turned off the television, (Wow did you really think that they were doing that?) and looked out the window.

“What is it, Sasuke?” Emily asked.

“Soldiers. I have no clue what they are doing here, but they will not take you away from me. I’ve failed once, but I will not fail again!” Sasuke took a long drift on his cigarette, and then he put it out. He then heard a window smash, and Sasuke found a man wearing a green uniform crawling in through the kitchen window. Unarmed, Sasuke had to fight fisticuffs with the soldiers who were well armed with grenades and automatic guns.

Sasuke charged at the unprepared man, and tackled him. The man crashed into the counter at an awkward angle, and Sasuke felt a loud crunch of the man’s back breaking in an instant. Two more soldiers came, and Sasuke felt wildly outnumbered.

“Surrender, or suffer the consequences,” Achilles said pointing his gun right at Sasuke.

Well maybe he wasn’t unarmed. When Kyle fired his gun at Sasuke, Sasuke pulled out a gleaming silver knife, and the bullet bounced right off of the blade. Distracted, Achilles yelled at Kyle for his incompetence.

“What are you doing?! We need him alive!” Achilles yelled.

“But you said, suffer the…” Kyle started, but Achilles hit him with his gun, and Kyle collapsed unconscious. Maybe that wasn’t a very good idea, because now Achilles was all by himself. Gamble had his back almost completely broken, Kyle was unconscious, and now he was alone with the greatest swordsman of all time.

“Listen, you will not take her!” Sasuke said from his living room.

“We are not trying to get her! We’re trying to get YOU!” Achilles shouted from the kitchen. He then turned the corner, and began to foolishly fire his gun frantically. Sasuke dived with Emily, as the surrounding items were destroyed by the hundreds of bullets spewing out of his gun.

“Emily, you’ve got to get out of here. I can take them,” Sasuke said hiding behind the couch.

“But…” Emily began.

The gun fire stopped and Sasuke pushed Emily away.

“You have to go… PLEASE!” Sasuke said with tears rolling down his eyes.

Emily began to run out of the house, when Sasuke heard a gunshot.

“NO!”

Emily stopped dead in her tracks. She then fell to her knees, and collapsed in the ground in a bloody heap. Sasuke then went over to Emily, and she wasn’t breathing. Sasuke found the bullet just under her left breast. He knew that there was no way that she would live to say another word. Sasuke kissed her cold cheek, and closed her eyes, as her mouth twitched and tried to reveal words.

“Emily, please rest in peace,” Sasuke then felt the sadness change into rage as he saw Achilles lying in his mother’s rocking chair. Sasuke had never experienced anything like it, and couldn’t control it… he couldn’t even control himself.

He felt a warm sensation travel through his body, and he felt like he was drifting away in a most wonderful high. He had no idea where he was. All he saw was white.

But what Achilles saw was most horrible for him. Sasuke’s eyes had completely turned over, and blood was pouring out of the sockets. He saw Sasuke’s body twitch in anger, and saw his hair spike up like he was being shocked.

“What in the world?!” Achilles shouted.

Achilles then saw a large purple glow begin to surround Sasuke, and it blurred Sasuke’s body. Sasuke then began to charge at Achilles in a speed that was unreal. In less then a second, Sasuke’s fist collided with Achilles’ face, and the warm sensation ended. Sasuke returned to his cold and normal self. He looked around. Achilles was dead on the floor, only his head was completely removed. Sasuke ran over to Emily, and ran off into the distance.

Finally... the last chapter... I really hoped that you enjoyed my story, because I know I did. Thanks to all who read my story! Enjoy the final chapter!

Chapter Fifteen: Touched by an Angel
The night was beautiful. The sky was red, and fading to blue. No creatures were heard nor seen. It was completely quiet. Well it was. Now a faint engine of a hover car could be heard. Traveling down the dirt roads at a high speed, this hover car was decked out with golden decorations, and golden tassels. The man driving the car was wearing a golden crown, and a golden night cloak. As you have guessed, this man is Alexander.

After getting a call from his new head of the Grand Army of the Izan Party, Sasuke Wong, Alexander hopped into the car and rushed to where Sasuke was… Phoenix Mountain. Not knowing why Sasuke had called him at such an odd time, Alexander was slightly puzzled, but he knew he could count on Sasuke.

Sasuke joined with Alexander when he surrendered to fifteen soldiers that raided his campsite in the most northern part of Frucia. Alexander made sure that Sasuke would be on his side forever, and he succeeded. Sasuke marched into Frucia with only two-hundred soldiers, and ended the Frucian Rebellion by killing more than five-thousand Frucian troops. Alexander was astonished by Sasuke, and he made Sasuke his unofficial “Prince” of Opani. Soon Alexander had control of four continents… and that was Opani. There was nothing left for him to own in Opani.

Apparently, Sasuke called about some sort of rebellion that was occurring at the top of Mount Phoenix. When Alexander finally arrived, he found his prince awaiting his arrival. Wearing a torn cape and black attire, Sasuke looked like a frightening sort of fellow. Especially his abnormal eyes and red marks. It seemed that even Alexander feared Sasuke on occasion.

“Welcome father,” Sasuke said bowing to Alexander.

“Oh, it’s been so long son!” Alexander said, grasping him in a hug.

“Please… this way father,” Sasuke said.

Sasuke then led him up the mountain which was no easy task. Phoenix Mountain was famous for being very hot and tall… no surprise since it was an active volcano.

“So where is this rebellion Prince Sasuke?” Alexander gasped, already a bit tired.

“Oh, it’s at the top,” he replied.

“But shouldn’t we be hearing something?” Alexander asked.

“Maybe it has quieted down a bit. Nevertheless my King, we need to be quiet,” Sasuke replied.

After hours of climbing, they finally reached the top of the mountain. In fact, there was no rebellion at all. When they reached the top, the night had turned black, and the only light was from the volcanic neck that was illuminating light from its magma inside.

“What are we doing here?” Alexander asked.

“To undo the wrongs, father,” Sasuke replied.

“To undo the wrongs? What are you talking about?” Alexander asked.

“Listen, the rebellion has shifted westward. But I feel that we should pray before we go,” Sasuke replied.

“Pray? Why, we could do that on the way there,” Alexander pleaded.

“No, Alexander, we are going to be having the most extravagant, most holy rituals of all time. The Ritual of the Forgotten,” Sasuke said.

“Well… Okay…” Alexander said.

“Okay, come here,” Sasuke said.

Sasuke grabbed Alexander’s hand, and led him to the very edge of the volcanic neck. Inside, he saw magma bubbling and tumbling. (I seriously didn’t mean for that to rhyme) Sasuke then went to the other side of the neck, and looked into Alexander’s eyes.

“So what is this ritual of the… what was it again?”

“Ritual of the Forgotten! I swear, in death you will never forget this name. You will not rest in peace my King. For this is where you will once again meat your forgotten enemies,” Sasuke said looking up into the sky.

“My forgotten enemies? What… you mean politicians or something?” Alexander asked dumbfounded.

“No. Tonight you will meet the people that hated you beyond belief. Today, in their most eternal slumber, they are still shaking with rage to get to you,” Sasuke said with a manic smile on his face.

“Sasuke, did I do something wrong?” Alexander gasped.

“Yes, you did Alexander. Soon you will be dead, and your reign of terror will be over. Opani will once again flourish in peace!” Sasuke shouted.

Echoes filled the area, and made the place most eerie. Smoke was pouring out of the volcanic neck, and a feint rumble could be felt and heard.

Then all of a sudden, the volcano popped out a human-like, white figure. It was the ghost of a person.

“Is that a ghost?!” Alexander gasped.

“No, this is John Kyle… One of your very men. You killed him when he and his regiment failed. Now he is dead… shaking in his coffin in rage and agony… as he will never see his wife Mary, ever again,” Sasuke said.

“Wait… what is this?!” Alexander gasped.

Soon hundreds… thousands… soon even a million white bodies were hovering around Alexander. Alexander then let out a horrible scream, and tried to run away, but the ghosts prevented him from leaving.

“Sasuke, stop this at once!” Alexander said with spit flying from his mouth.

“Not until we have all of your enemies… Alexander,” Sasuke replied.

Soon more enemies appeared. One was a rather fat man. Alexander noticed him at once.

“Gangus?!”

Soon more and more appeared. Even his late wife, Rachel appeared.

“Rachel?!”

“That’s not all father,” Sasuke said.

Soon four more appeared. Alexander knew them as Kasha, Angelo, Kasan, and Zadan.

“How are you doing this?!” Alexander gasped.

He was completely shocked in fear and anger. Jayden knew none of these people, but Angelo. He was greatly aroused in happiness and courage when he saw Angelo.

“This is not all Alexander. Soon there will be one more… and unlike them… he will not disappear,” Sasuke said. Sasuke then waved his hands, and all but Kasan, Kasha and Zadan disappeared. “And I think you know him.”

“No… not the mage! Please stop this at once!” Alexander pleaded.

He then got on his knees and crawled to Sasuke.

“Get off of me you piece of ****!” Sasuke then kicked at him, and his foot collided with Alexander’s face. Sasuke heard something crack, and when Alexander reappeared, his nose was completely removed. Sasuke then laughed, and picked up the removed nose.

“Maybe… Jayden would like this nose…” Sasuke said laughingly.

He then dropped the nose into the volcano, as blood continued to pour from Alexander’s face. There was never a time where Alexander was this weak.

“Sasuke, please, I will do anything. I will get you anything… or anyone!” Alexander said tugging at his pants.

Sasuke then pulled himself away from Alexander’s grasp. Alexander then began to cry like a little child.

“It is time for you to meet your end Alexander,” Sasuke smiled.

The volcano then shook more violently then ever, and small bits of magma began to spew out of the volcano, and it landed on the mountain as lava.

“No, please Jayden! I never meant to hurt you!” Alexander pleaded, looking up into the sky. Thunder and lightening then began to fill the air, rain began to fall, and the wind began to pick up.

The volcano let out another rumble, and both Alexander and Sasuke fell down. Something erupted from the volcano, and Sasuke saw a figure of a black mage through lava that was pouring out of the volcano.

“Stop this!” Alexander cried. “NO!”

The rumbling stopped, and the lava landed. A black mage remained in the air with his arms folded as he looked down at Alexander.

“Jayden… Powers?” Alexander croaked.

Jayden had changed dramatically. He was now at a regular height, and his clothes were very worn and torn. He had a gray beard that poured out of his black face like a wizard. And most dramatically… a halo appeared above his tall brown mage hat.

Jayden hovered over to Kasan and Zadan and hugged them both.

“Friends, I know I have been gone for a very long time, but soon I will be able to finally rest, and I will join you two,” Jayden said smiling under his hat. “But I have some unfinished business first.”

Jayden looked at Kasha, and smiled. Alexander killed Kasha when she went crazy over the death of her brother. She never intended for Jayden to die, and when she found out her heart broke.

“And I will join you too, Kasha,” he smiled.

Jayden looked down at Alexander, and as he did, lightening struck behind him making a very scary image.

“Jayden, how did you survive?” Alexander gasped.

“Alexander… Alexander… Long time no see,” Jayden replied with his arms folded. He then floated to the ground, and approached Alexander.

“Alexander, if you must know, I did not survive. I died when the lava spewed out of the volcano and covered my body. No one could have survived it. Instead of my body being taken to the unknown, my body remained on Opani, and I lived in this very mountain… awaiting the day of your arrival,” Jayden smiled.

“How… how?!” Alexander gasped.

“That my pitiful friend… is between the Gods…” Jayden said looking into Alexander’s very eyes.

“NO! I will not lose to you! Sasuke, you will regret doing this to me in the afterlife. NO ONE CAN DEFEAT…” Alexander began.

“You just don’t get it yet do you?! You are the devil himself! There is absolutely no one who has ever, or ever will be worse than you my friend! I know you know of the gospel yourself. The Gods predicted that the devil would one day rise and take control of Opani… and they were indeed right. But I am here to stop you Alexander. No… we are here to stop you!” All of the ghosts then reappeared behind Jayden, and Alexander screamed in horror.

“Jayden, I know that the ghosts can not help you, so I will. You can count on me,” Sasuke said approaching Jayden.

“Thank you, my friend,” Jayden said bowing his head.

Alexander then sat up, and stood up towering Sasuke and Jayden with his enormous size.

“If I have no allies then so be it! I do not need any ally to defeat you two!” Alexander shouted. He then pulled out the blade the size of a normal human being, and began to swing left and right with his blade.

“Jayden, watch out!” Sasuke shoved Jayden to the side, and they both barely avoided the blade. Sasuke could feel the wind being cut as his blade cut across the air. There were hundreds of occasions where the blade could have hit one of them, but miraculously they both avoided them. One more time, and they avoided it. Alexander then huffed and puffed as he tried to regain his breath.

Sasuke then saw his opportunity, and pulled out his blade himself. He then charged at Alexander, but Alexander caught him by the very neck.

“This fight is between him and me!” Alexander said in a demonic voice.

His voice had changed completely, and so did his face. His face was so stressed and angry looking, that it had remained that way the entire fight. His voice was frightening. It was very deep, and it had its own echo. Sasuke shaked in fear at it.

Sasuke tried to break free from Alexander’s grasp, but it was impossible. Sasuke could feel Alexander’s fingernails cutting into Sasuke’s very throat. He felt blood begin to rush through his head, and he couldn’t think. He then let out a horrible scream.

“AH! HELP ME JAYDEN!” Sasuke shouted.

Jayden charged at Alexander, but he too was caught in Alexander’s grasp. Alexander then dropped his blade, and lifted both of them off the ground. He began to walk over to the volcano, and he stopped at the edge. He looked up at Sasuke and Jayden, and gave a most horrible smile. Then, like a guillotine, his hands went down, trying to send both of them into the boiling hot magma below, but somehow, they both grabbed onto his trashcan-like fists.

“Huh?” Alexander said in the same voice.

He then began to shake his fists to try and get them off, and Jayden fell.

“No!” Sasuke shouted, but Jayden somehow grabbed onto Sasuke’s foot.

Alexander then began to shake his other hand, and finally Sasuke fell. He saw the vision of the outside world begin to fade, and he saw nothing but red, but his hand connected with the hot edge of the volcanic neck just in time.

“Come on, I can’t hold on much longer!” Jayden cried from down below.

Sasuke felt his hands begin to burn, and he too could not bear to keep holding on. He wanted to fall and land on his soft warm bed and end this horrible nightmare, but he couldn’t. If he let go, he would land in hot boiling magma.

“Holding on, little ones?” Alexander said.

Alexander then lifted both of them by Sasuke’s hand, and he brought them back to the outside. He then threw them aside.

“You two are pathetic!” Alexander then charged at Sasuke, and kicked him like a ball in the face. Sasuke’s face went back like a jack in the box, and he fell on his back clutching his face. Something felt wrong, he reached up to his nose, but found no nose! All he found was a large hole! Now the three of them had something in common. Each had no nose whatsoever. Sasuke felt blood begin to drench his clothes and face. He felt like he wasn’t even alive at that moment… as if he drifted off into a far away place… but he was awakened when he felt something heavy begin to crush his stomach.

He opened his eyes and saw Alexander standing on his limp body. He couldn’t believe the pain he was experiencing. It felt like his ribs were breaking like a collapsing building.

“AH!” He screamed. There was nothing he could do to get him off, but then he saw a bunch of sparks fly, and Alexander collapsed very near the neck. Sasuke looked up and saw Jayden clutching a stick with fire blazing at the very top of it. Where he found a stick, Sasuke didn’t care, but he appreciated it.

Alexander then stood up, and grabbed Jayden by the very face. The stick then fell into the neck, and was completely useless at that moment. Alexander was squeezing Jayden’s face, and Jayden’s legs shook in the air as Alexander hoisted him in the air with once again only one arm. Sasuke could hear Jayden screaming, and it was unbearable. Alexander then squeezed harder, and Jayden let out the most horrible yell Sasuke had ever heard. A strong wind came, and it knocked off Jayden’s hat. What Sasuke then saw, was disturbing.

Jayden’s head was completely burned. He was completely deformed and it was horrible to even look at it. Sasuke couldn’t move, and found no way of even being able to move his legs.

“That’s it, I give up,” Sasuke gasped.

He then felt the volcano give a violent shake, and Sasuke wondered what was going on. Then another white person popped out of the neck. Sasuke knew her at once.

“Emily?!” Sasuke gasped.

Emily smiled at him. She then walked over to him, and kissed him on the cheek. Sasuke could feel it, and he was completely puzzled.

“Not yet, Sasuke,” She smiled at him, and patted him on the chest. He felt something in her hand, and looked to find that she had set a knife on his chest.

“You re…” Sasuke started, but Emily closed his mouth.

“I remembered,” she smiled.

Sasuke heard Jayden give out another horrible scream, and Alexander threw Jayden to the side. Sasuke then felt a warm sensation travel through his body, and he couldn’t even care about the pain he was experiencing. He jumped up, and to Alexander’s almighty surprise, stuck the knife. into Alexander’s heart.

It was as if time stopped. Alexander was shocked at the knife sticking inside of him. Alexander fell to the ground, and concussed.

“I did it? I did it? I did it?” Sasuke couldn’t remember how many times he said it, but he said it more than he could count. He looked up to the stars and smiled.

“Thank you… Emily. One day, I will be with you,” Sasuke said.

He then remembered Jayden, and he rushed over to him.

“Jayden, are you alright?!” He shouted.

“Yeah, Sasuke, I’m alright. Listen… thank you… for defeating him,” Jayden said.

“Wait, please tell me how Emily appeared,” Sasuke hurried.

“Let’s just said I asked God if I could take one more person with me to the surface. It seems he allowed me,” he laughed.

Sasuke couldn’t believe it. The nightmare was over. But then, he felt something clutch the back of his neck. He looked back, and saw Alexander with the knife sticking into his very heart.

“Now you die… PRINCE!” Alexander then rushed over to the neck and looked down. The magma had indeed risen during the time they were fighting. He then raised his arms.

“NO!” Jayden pleaded.

Alexander’s arms then went down, and Sasuke went crashing down into the volcano. He felt his body hit the magma, and he remembered no more.

“Alexander… how could you?” Jayden gasped.

“Jayden, no one can kill the devil!” Alexander then began to laugh wickedly, and the voice filled the lands of Opani.

Jayden then stood up, and he felt a warm sensation travel through his body.

“No… please! Not again!” Jayden gasped.

Rage then filled his body, and his body began to twitch. He felt the few strands of hair on his head stand up straight, and he felt his eyes roll over.

“Not the trance!” He shouted up into the sky.

A purple veil then covered his body, and he remembered no more.

Alexander saw Jayden shaking the very mountain below him. Alexander was filled with fear at that moment, and then in a blink of an eye, Jayden charged at him, and Jayden’s fist connected with Alexander’s face. Jayden then awoke. He looked around. On the ground, Alexander’s decapitated body was lying on the ground, dead.

“I’ve done it… no one’s death… will… be… in… vain… this… time…” Jayden then collapsed and concussed. When he awoke… he was among the clouds, the sun, his friends, his family, the Gods, and most important… peace and happiness.
