Who saw it? What'd ya think? How does it compare to the Nightmare Before Christmas?

My thoughts... Well, it wasn't too bad. It wasn't phenomenal like the Nightmare Before Christmas. But it was touching. And I liked the music.

I particularly liked Emily's dress. Especially in that scene on the bridge. I think it could've been a little more horror-esque. But eh.

I liked Emily better.

I wanted to see that movie. My sister saw it. I thought it looked good. It's an old Russian folk tale. I thought that cool. The clay animation doesn't look so scary either. When I was younger, The Nightmare Before Christmas used to freak the bejeezus outta me.

I liked the music a lot. ^o^ And yeah, it isn't scary at all. Not even spooky. Nothing to make you jump.

Saw it for the second time on Saturday...I noticed a couple of things that I hadn't the first time. I think it's a sweet story, but it could've wrenched our hearts a little more.

I'm downloading it as I type this so I will have a review tomorrow...

no it is a completely different story...the main star is Johnny Depp and he is in the land of the dead...or something like that I still haven't got to watch it...

In the folk story, it was talking about why there was a corpse bride. The story goes that it was the corpse of a Jewish bride who was killed--massacred like all of the Israelites have been for millenia. I wish we could stop that, but I can't do it alone. But what they do is that when another person is victim to the hate crime against Jews, they are buried in the clothes they were killed in. There were many dead brides...

The movie is basically about Victor (Depp) who's arranged to marry Victoria to save her family from debt... He accidentally marries a corpse, and well...stuff happens.

I saw it...pretty weird.

I heard it sucked but I still wanna see it...

Well it's definitely a let-down if you're expecting another Nightmare Before Christmas. Nothing can survive in that shadow.

I saw it when it came out and it was pretty good. Nice concept to it.

I saw it a while ago in Theatres, Nightmare before Christmas was 10 times better if ya ask me.
