OK I may not be ready to start writing this one but here we go with the background:
It has been two years since the group has defeated Princess Kaguya in the castle beyond the looking glass and already they have almost forgotten that pivotal battle. During a battle Inuyasha is stabbed through the heart and collapses. Afterwards the others run to his side only to be met by his lifeless body. However just as it seems that all hope in saving him is lost they are guided by Inuyasha's soul to a place where a two way portal to hell is opened. Now the gang must make a choice: either enter this foul lair of evil and face all the horror and pain that will follow in an attempt to bring him back to life in living flesh and blood...or save themselves and abandon their comrade to an eternity of suffering and torture!
Some one-''sure, i wanna her it the rest, this is cool'' :.....:
All righty then! Here we go (Chapter one)
It would have been a nice and beautiful day where the members of Inuyasha's gang were (Kagome, Shippou, Miroku, Sango, and of course Inuyasha. Though Myouga told them that he had "things to do" as soon as a tourent of demons were spotted coming over a hill) of course this was not the case, as the sky was almost filled with smoke and the smell of dead demons. The group was having a lot of trouble just keeping up with the onslaught, never mind having to watch out that they didn't slip in blood.
"These bastards just don't know when to quit now do they?!" Growled Inuyasha as he finished off another unlucky demon.
The body count continued to grow faster than it could be slowed until out of Inuyasha's eye he could see a single demon creeping up on Kagome who was busy slaying demons in groups of anywhere from five to ten with her sacred arrows. In a blinding stroke of speed and grace the cowardly beast was downed by a single stroke of Tetsusaiga. However, before he had any time to react another burst from it's previos host's body and managed to bore straight through Inuyasha's flesh, sending him to the ground in agony.
Kagome let out a scream but was to preoccupied to move, as any step towards him would emidiately result in a swift yet painful death at the hands of their asailants. Now the work on the other's was almost to hard to bear, as was their feeling of loss as they knew that the wound suffered by Inuyasha would turn fatal if the fighting did not stop right then. What they did not know however was that Inuyasha had not suffered only one but two other wounds just as grave only they had not seen or heard any sign of it. Yet in their most desperate hour, a single figure could be seen through the smoke, flames, and poisonous clouds of demonic blood.
This man wore with him a sword that's sole purpose was destruction and yet another weapon who's use was not to kill but to heal. Yes, this figure was none other than Inuyasha's half-brother Sesshomaru. No one knew why he had come yet at that moment his arrival signaled their safety and guarentee of life. To their astonishment though the demonic prince destroyed all but seven of the demons who escaped barely with their lives, but as fast as he came he was gone with no answer to why he had saved them.
After he left Kagome's attention turned to Inuyasha who was already turning pale with death and had very little time to spare. As Kagome held him in her arms with tears streaming down her face they could hear the last words that he would say in life.
"Kagome...I l..lo..ve you!" Inuyasha said with his eyes filled with tears just before he gave one final breath and fell limp while his pupils grew to their maximum width.
With that Kagome layed him down and ran in the direction of the well while Miroku said a prayer and closed Inuyasha's eyes for the last time. There was not a dry eye for a thousand miles from the people that knew Inuyasha when they heard of his death and even when Lord Sesshomaru heard of his little brother's demise he shed a tear without knowing why or if his followers saw it.
The next week The villagers of Lady Kiade's village lined the road to pay their respects and offerings of good will to their fallen hero and to the survivors of the tradgic battle. Miroku and Sango themselves carried his body to the top of a nearby hill where the veiw was beautiful during sunrise, sunset, and during the day. Kagome was still to struck with greif to attend and instead stayed at home unknowing of the ceremony that was occuring 500 years before. She felt that she would never see her lover's face again and she regreted every time she had said "sit" in anger or frustration. She would have done anything to let him know how she felt. And for one full year she did not return to the feudal era and even with her school friends she felt no happiness. While she lay asleep every night she would dream of those last words of his and she would remember everything clearly, and see it again, and again...only the dreams got worse and soon she saw images of him in hell, screaming for her to come rescue him, only what she didn't know was that this was realy happening, and he needed her by his side that instant...
Well there you have it! The first chapter of my story. Now I know that there is not much dialouge so far but I promise that I will start putting more into it. Hope you like it so far.
