I dont even know what a tribute means exactly ( "Tribute: A gift, payment, declaration, or other acknowledgment of gratitude, respect, or admiration." use dictionary sometimes, lim :D ) it just sounds cool so i'm using it :P

anyways, this place is reaching its one year anniversary soon. time flies... half of this year seems to have skipped by. I remember when i first started this forum, i advertised like crazy on DGEmu, offering literally thousands of dps(gps, limmy, gps :P ) (Everyone loves to be bribed)(for those that dont go to dgemu, dont worry) for people who join this forum. Most joined and never came back, but some loyal people stayed, and a few remain til this day. But we'll get to that later.

First i want to remind the people who were here since the earliest days, of two important members - gokudanny89 and cutie_boi. They were like the first saga of this forum. I hate(why?) to admit it but they helped so much, to get more members and make this place bigger.. they tried TOO hard lol. For some reason i just cant forget these two. Then suddenly cutie_boi disappeared almost off the face of the earth one day in december, and no one ever saw him on any forum again. Still no one knows what happened... (holy crap, you say it like he's dead) (He got beemed away by some aliens) As for gokudanny, he slowly left, made his own forum, and yeah.

So anyways, that was around the end of December. I also remember Sathe and Crapshack, they joined at around the same time. I didn't see much of them though until a few weeks later, when the forum was beginning to die for the first time.. i think. Now they're one of the few loyal people left here. You guys(and girls) are the best :lol:

Anyways, Mel-mel, Lenne (or Len're now), Chidori Sasuke (who then became Avenger , and now Xile) (and will have another different name in a few weeks :P)(and who's qiangy-chan now :P ) (told ya!) and SapphireDragon also all joined at around the same time. At that time we needed mods and these four people seemed to be really active(really really active) and enthusiastic so i didnt hesistate in making Mel-mel and Len're mods, and Xile and SD a gfxer, coz they seemed to be really good. It turned out to be the right decision :D

Backtracking a bit... Cyril, and SteveoDBGT. Haha, these two guys also joined at the same time. Good things(things?) seem to come together eh. Well, they became admins coz i needed people who could look after the 'bigger' things of the forum along with me. It is arguable that they've done the most for this forum.(NO! they didn't! YOU did! :yes: oh and do you remember that Big C was called the laziest admin? lol j/k :lol: ) (Hey hey... i AM the laziest admin... :P ) (I helped out when I could :P)(I haven't said that you didn't :P) (I know) :yes: Jezze also joined at the same time, being led here by Cyril coz they're friends in real life. He was one of the most active here as well, except for the times when he had computer or net problems XD

Now, lKaYoSl and Vegerunks.exe joined on the same day. I cant remember what happened when these guys first came (first signs of amnesia -_- ) (or just old age), but Vegerunks seemed pretty active so i think he became a mod? (just cause he could, for the hell of it :D):hehe: Well Kayos, i cant remember what happened when he first came either, but he later became a gfxer, and one of the best we had.

Ok, Coconaught and Mist Assassin, two of the earliest members. In the beginning i used to associate these two guys together for some reason. They became Super Mods, although i dont remember them doing very much(how dare you? Coconaught has 72 mod actions! :P ...oh well, Mist assasin has 8 ^^' ), possibly because there was not much to do XD but they were regulars on this forum, so they earned their title. Now Mist Assassin is gone, but Coconaught has risen up to become an Admin. Why? Coz he's always been here :P Which brings me to..

Videl!!(<--I love those exclamation marks :P ) She's also always been here(*sniff*). And she wanted this forum to be reinstated to its former glory, so she became an admin. This was when AHQZ was really in strife.. it was a few months ago. We tried.. she did so much..(mostly used her mouse to be honest :P ) but it failed. But we didn't give up! Which is why this forum is still here, and slowly rising again. Thanks Videl! :good:

Now, Dualist. Yes, the legendary Dualist(do you remember that he didn't like when people were writing his name with capital letter? :P ), that only mod that kept this forum under control. Everyone feared(not everyone) him and loved him(here I agree :yes: ) at the same time. But things changed, and he left... Now he is now an unregistered member because he requested for his account to be deleted, but that is another (sad) story. Edit: W00t dualist came back!! :D :D (yay!! now he can do stuff :P)

And Fayt. She was one of the later members, in a sense, but quickly made up for it by posting soooo much.(second top poster :good: ) SPAM :lol: haha im joking. but she's one cute and cool girl, and she's even got her own fan club now. XD

Naruto-Uzamaki came even later, when this forum was really dying. Amazingly, he stayed and became a part of this community. But he's not here anymore.. im sure he'll be back though :) Edit: Yep he came back :lol:

Of course, i cant not talk about Anime X Anime. He was simply known as the spammer. Most people hated him, but i stuck up for him, because i saw nothing bad in him. He was the one who made this forum truly exciting(ekhm...before it was exciting too ^^' ). He's only sometimes annoying and offends people without trying to. But he is one cool guy if you get to know him, and Xile, Mel-mel and others will agree with me. He is still on this forum, which proves my point, but some do not yet know who he is :P

When this forum was at it's lowest, the few people that stayed to keep this forum alive - basically everyone i've mentioned so far who HASNT left - have not been here for nothing. Because of them, this forum still stands, and is still strong. This is not a tribute to the forum.. but a tribute to these special people who have been a big part of this forum's history.

Let's not let this place die yet. :)






Now, we must mention one more person. He was here from the beggining, he was here when this forum was dying, and he was here to bring it back to live. And he's still here.
He always was the best example for all our members. He has most posts here, but because of his modesty, he deleted his post count.
He is the best.
He's the coolest.
He made the AHQZ.
He is the true legend of AHQZ.

Sorry for this being so long by I have to say few more things.
On AHQZ I've learned many things (how to spam without getting ban for example XD )
I've met many wonderful people here. Because of AHQZ I made my first MSN account (yeah, I know it's stupid ^^' ) and thanks to AHQZ now I have great friends from all over the world...(even if they don't come to AHQZ anymore <_< )
And that's why I love AHQZ so much, and that's why I will do my best to not let this place die :yes:
