Sometimes you want to post your part of the story and right away start typing it. But while typing someone else might end up posting before you and you may have to change your part of the story.

That's why I came up with 'placeholders'. All you have to do is click 'Post Reply' and right away just type 'placeholder' or something like it and click 'Add Reply'. This will put your post up right away and you just edit that post and put in your part of the story without risking someone beating you to it.

If someone put a placeholder in before you then just wait for them to finish then go ahead. If they are at a different point than you such as a different city then you could probably go without worrying.
